Protests erupt in Iran over gasoline price hike

Thinking about it now, it makes sense that these anarchist "protesters " will attack banks - attacking banks hurts the economy further by causing financial disruptions. So to me this is evidence that these violent protesters had external support and direction.

What about this :

Protesters burn down Iranian consulate in southern Iraq

Anti-government protesters have burned down the Iranian consulate in southern Iraq, while six protesters were killed by security forces who fired live rounds amid ongoing violence in the country.

Protesters torched the Iranian consulate in the holy city of Najaf late on Wednesday. One protester was killed and at least 35 people were wounded when police fired live ammunition to prevent them from entering the building, a police official said.

The demonstrators removed the Iranian flag from the building and replaced it with an Iraqi one. Iranian staff were not harmed and escaped the building from the back door and authorities imposed a curfew in Najaf.

The incident marked an escalation in the demonstrations that have raged in Baghdad and across the mostly Shiite southern Iraq since the start of October. The protesters accuse the Shiite-led government of being hopelessly corrupt and complain of poor public services and high unemployment. They are also decrying growing Iranian influence in Iraqi state affairs.

It is mind boggling when the mouthpieces of the illegal, usurping, child-killing entity aka IsraHell talk about human rights.

Nonsense from a person who knows nothing about what he talks.

Even with the conflicts with the Palestinians ( that hopefully would be resolved ) , my country is ranked way ahead of your country and Iran as far as human rights are concerned :

"According to international law, Israel can unequivocally be defined as an apartheid state. A 1976 United Nations document, the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid, defines the term unambiguously, and Israel’s occupation regime in Palestine very much falls into the A-word category."

5 Reasons Why Israel is an Apartheid State

More bs , apartheid mean people dont get to vote, The truth is Israel is one of the few countries in the middle east where people do get to vote. Israelis ( including more than a 1.5 arabs ) in Israel and palestinians vote in the Palestinian authority , hopefully they would get a state and can vote there.

I tell you where they don't get to vote at all - the country you so desperately trying to divert to topic from :

IRAN

remember ? where the protests where ? where the supreme mullah rules with no elections what so ever , yet for some reason it does not bother you.

I think you need to listen to statements from the former US President Jimmy Carter in the video: Israel is an apartheid state.

"A momentous report

The two internationally renowned US scientists conducted the study on the treatment of the Palestinians by Israel on behalf of the United Nations organization Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), which concluded: “The weight of the evidence supports beyond a reasonable doubt the contention that Israel is guilty of imposing an apartheid regime on the Palestinian people.” The report acknowledges the need for a proper international judicial process to provide these conclusions the necessary authority and therefore encourages UN courts to take on this task. With all its explosive nature, the report is a historic landmark because it is the first time that a UN organization has identified the permanent crimes committed by Israel as “apartheid”.

I think you need to stop trying to change the topic of this thread.

It is bad enough that you support dictatorship and the violent crushing of protest. But instead of trying to explain why you support this sick stuff , you do the same as the supreme mullahs do , by obsessively trying to speak about my country or the US.

This protests have nothing to do with my country or the US . The only reason you speak about them is because you are lost for words and fail to justify mullahs dictatorship.

By the way your own country , Somalia human rights record is even worth than Iran , which is quite an " achievement " :

The only country in the world that is classified as an apartheid state is Israel. Even Myanmar doesn't come closer to that category. In the below link, Israel's international pariah status is very well documented.

What kind of pariah is this that its fully functioning as a state and is not sanctioned.

Because the founders of that pariah state are the same group of people who control the institutions that should have punished it. Look no further than the UNSC and the people who have veto powers.

Countries are invaded, dismembered, destroyed, or sabotaged in order to protect that pariah state.

The world of Freemasonry is 1, and that pariah regime is an extension of that empire.

Yes but Israel is far more democratic than any other country in that region.

Khamenei orders Iran unrest victims treated as 'martyrs'

479

Iran's supreme leader has agreed that people killed in nationwide unrest last month who had no role in fomenting it should be treated as "martyrs" with their families compensated.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's decision marked a significant softening of position by the Iranian authorities towards those killed during the protests that erupted on 15 November following a surprise hike in fuel prices.

He was responding to a report on the protests he commissioned from Iran's Supreme National Security Council, his official website said Wednesday.

He ordered that its recommendations "be implemented as soon as possible".

Iran has yet to give overall figures for the number of people killed or arrested when security forces moved in to quell the unrest that saw buildings torched and shops looted.
