Prospects of Kejriwal being PM of india?

Will appreciate indian members could share some feedback about Kejriwal, somehow these days on youtube I have been watching short video clips about him, his party and his performance in Delhi.

They claim to have significantly subsidized the electricity, improve the schools, provide water, improve the government offices and hospitals, are working to improve the sanitation and seem like they are taking advantage of technology to benefit their citizens. The common people who were interviewed had very positive comments about Kejriwal and wanted to see him as CM or Pardhan Mantri.

Is this true that he has performed very well?

And what are his chances of ever becoming an indian PM? If he suppose becomes a PM, what are his views on Pakistan and relations with Pakistan?

@Wood @Sudarshan, can you explain why you laughed at post# 10 where I posted news of people suiciding or dying because of lack of money in a society where everything needs money and pushes you to suicide if you cannot come up with the extortion money ? Do you not have empathy ?

I did not look at any of the links that you've posted. I always laugh at your comments because I think they are delusional. In fact, you are exactly the type of poster that BJP IT wing will use to convince the center leaning moderates that left is made of naive dumbass people

Being from Delhi I can shed some light.

He did not improve healthcare or schools ,
He replaced long established dispensaries in Delhi with branded mohalla clinics.
His improvement in school is limited to infrastructure not education ,infact the passing rate of Delhi students is declining.

He has opened numerous wine shops all across Delhi( adds to criminal activities) just to increase revenue so that he can find budget for electricity and water freebies that gets him votes mostly from poor and lower middle class.

I can argue that Sheila dixit govt. did a far better job.

He in short is a cunning ,scared individual who intends to gather power in his family.
He will throw anyone out who might outshine him in his party.

His planks of anti corruption ,clean government run by educated people are broken and not even talked about now.

He is small player who will never be PM.

I am not asking for support that is impossible neither Pakistanis want it, we can remain enemies but some of things have to change. This hatred brought by Hindutva BJP RSS types is not something that is healthy for this region. If this keeps going on, things will change for the worst and it would be common people suffering.

With all due respect, the fallout in relationship with Pakistan is the least of India's problems that are brought about by Sangh's brainwashing. Many BJP voters believe both Putin and Biden take orders from Modiji

Lastly, I find it a bit disappointing that people are so unwilling to give a chance to someone different. We are bankrupt of choices in Indian politics, and when someone new comes, we don't leave any stone unturned to pull him down with all sort of excuses. We show that same dislike of upstarts that his competitors do, whereas we are not even competing with him.

All this is what people going about their ordinary lives want. Plus he seems pretty educated.

Among urban Indians he is well known outside North India as well. Not only as Delhi CM and the fashion in which he became one, but due to the agitation along with Anna Hazare that preceded it.

In rural areas they probably don't know him. But rural south Indians probably don't know Sharad Pawar or Naveen Patnaik either, so that is not a good yardstick.

The dice is loaded against people like Kejriwal. Politics has become very expensive with very high entry barriers, and it is not just about filing your nomination, paying the hefty deposit and funding rallies. So much of campaigning is now through IT Cells and you need not just resources but a whole organization for it. Bigger parties have a huge headstart in this.

No. An average BJP voter in UP will not connect dots this way. You expect too much from them

As for Indians from South, they will also be aware of Kejiriwal. But South Indian politics has a significant influence of regional parties because many people there cannot speak Hindi. People in the region will be less inclined to vote for him.

Those "naive fools" have world-wide movements and established entire countries. Even the biased UNO has documented that even war-torn Syria provides better socio-economic facilities to its citizens than India and Pakistan.
