he thinks that tribunal is supreme. and its the only body to govern election disputes. yes true as far as constituncy disputes are concern, but ofcourse when election itself is put into question, its the SC that has the power to hear and decide, not what @Syed.Ali.Haider 's desire..

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land.

My friend suppose Noora king completes his full term at the helm, how do we know next general elections is going to be rigged free? Which is why its necessary to have a biometric system in place to ensure the elections are free and fair and that all parties accept the result.

The place to ensure that the next elections are better than the last ones is inside the Parliament by doing the work as honorable members, not out on the streets like hooligans.

What kind of parliament are you talking about when no reforms have been tabled and implemented? Just to refresh your memory it was your Noora king who attacked the supreme court in 1997, . As I have said before until biometric system is not in place there will never be free and fair elections.

The kind of Parliament that the people deserve, and have.

Bro you as senior member i think you will have enough info that Ik did exhausted all legal ways for pursuing his case, he went to tribunal he went to parliament he went to SC , there is no place where he didn't asked for justice, sorry to say he cannot go to Allah

Again you said about amendment in constitutions, then you should also know that who is sitting in government, PMLN. you think they will allow such amendments. He is not in weak position, he has nothing to lose, forget about resignation, did government agreed on 4 seats to be audited, why you are not criticizing stay orders of PMLN, you seems to me biased
He has not exhausted his options.

I can't remember exact words, but supreme court had referred him to follow proper procedure. Both iftikhar and Jilani said it. He wants short cuts, but current constitution does not allow it.

SO people of Pakistan deserve this, why, because you are a Qadiani and hates Pakistan?

Basically according to his logic we should accept idiot corrupt politicans who will loot and plunder Pakistan for generations, These idiot politicans dont represent the people, they only care how to fill their own pockets and protecting their huge empire businesses. Just look at Thar in Sindh where small kids and infants are dying of hunger and these idiots havent done anything to help them very sad.

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land.

Thats a relief you believe that.. now do you understand that tribunal is a special or small court and that SC is the ultimate body and that article 225 establishes tribunal's power to decide constituency cases and that to declare null and void a election or hold audit, the SC has the authority according to the constitution?

Elections were rigged there is doubt about it, but there can be no honest investigation thanks to corrupt & incompetent politicians. They want to this corrupt system to survive & what IK or Dr. TUQ are trying to do cannot be achieved just like that or system cannot be snatched from the hands of corrupt politicians, both IK & Dr. TUQ are now FINALLY aware of it & hence have ended their so called revolution & dharnas, well IK has changed his dharna into jalsas & honestly that is not the solution, Sharjeel Memon has clearly said our turn is next, so who is going to stop that from happening when turns are already divided amongst PPP, PML-N & other parties like ANP, JUI, MQM & etc are 24/7 ready to stand with them for the sake of corruption.

So the end result is nothing good will happen for Pakistan under corrupt politicians.

It was prophesied by Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H) that Muslims will be ruled by hypocrites.

According to Article 225, in salees ungrayzee, it is the authority of the Parliament to establish the tribunal. :D

If government is not afraid then a simple presidential ordinance can do that. However everyone knows that upon vote audit of constituencies, it would be like "Jeerha Panno, Laal ae" that would eventually lead to re election or midterm and it suits no party except PTI. That's why justice is being delayed and denied.

It is not a matter of being afraid or not in politics, but the law is the law.

It is not a matter of being afraid or not in politics, but the law is the law.

That law being what it is, the business community is starting to rally behind the PM even while deriding the corruption that plagues the system. When they rally behind the PM, this rigging controversy is all but lost. It is sad, but the impetus was mismanaged and played on ego rather than opportunity. And in the eyes of those that run the economy of the country, there is nothing more to be gained from sit ins and further controversies.
