My grandad was Yugoslav partisan, he fought against Croatian fashiscts, Serbian monarchists, Radical Muslims...but also against Italian faschist.
When his unit enter Trieste, he was very dissapointed in Yugoslav leadership, becouse he witnessed humiliation of Italians. There was a food shortage, not enough bread for all kids and womens of faschist soldiers. Do you know price of one bread for Italians (women)?

No. My grandad build Yugoslavia, country that was for three decades one of most prosperous on continent. With real level of multiculturalism. With avarage salary of 1511 dolars compared to Italian 1488 dolars back in 1979.

Why is Bonaparte in Polish Anthem?

The text was written by the poet Józef Wybicki in 1797 and was first titled Song of the Polish Legions in Italy (Pieśń Legionów Polskich we Włoszech) (just as La Marseillaise was initially titled War song for the Army of the Rhine)

The Polish legions were created under Napoléon Bonaparte in Italy (then commander of the Italian campaign of the French revolutionary wars),after the third partition of Poland, which in 1795 had put an end to the Polish state; Its territory had in fact been annexed by Russia, Prussia and Austria.

The Polish legionnaires, one of whose leaders was Jean-Henri Dombrowski, had put themselves at the service of France, thinking that they could then fight for the liberation of Poland.

It was normal for Poles who fought alongside Napoléon to cherish the exemple their commander would give them,especially in the wars conducted against Prussia,Austria and Russia,who happened to be the Poland's mortal ennemies. (responsible of its partition).
