If we start now, after 70 years, to calculate who owes to whom, sooner or later, the question of borders may also arise. Therefore, I repeat the question - would Poland like to return to the pre-War borders?

Like i said in my first post i think its more about scaring Germany when sanction on Poland are near ... for us is more like 27 years not many people think about Polish People’s Republic times like an independent country ...

And it seems to me that it's silly to try to scary Germans with historical questions. The result can be quite the opposite. Especially now, when there are obvious contradictions between the Americans and occupied Germany.

Stop acting like Italy is powerhouse of Europe. We make a consensus that Italy was always a great country, but please it is not on Italians to make power balance in Europe. You overestimate Italy alot.

Rzeczpospolita was one of most advanced countries in Europe, most liberal country by far, total opposite to modern Poland dominated by Catholic church. But you dont see Poles nowdays to brag about who have right to speak or not.

So if we exclude culture and arts, Poland contributed more to European existence then Italy. Simply Italy was founded by force, when Poland is both ethnical and lingual homogenous country. You will never see separation movements in Poland like you see Venice separation movement in Italy.
There is no difference between Poles in Krakow or Warsaw, like Sicilians and north Italians.
I think that only two European countries give respect to Poland, that Poland deserves. It is Hungary and Serbia. Sad, after millions of dead Poles on European soil.

Btw. these reparations sounds like most stupid idea ever presented by Poles, with that logic, Croats would be bankrupt for another 100 years for crimes commited against more then million Serbs in past 100 years.

I just pointed out that Poles contributed more then Italians in European defense. It wasnt Serbia, Austria, and Italy that stopped Ottomans but Poland with their superior cavarly, organized military administration and disciplined army.

Eastern Europeans, survived alot, Huns, Sultans, Tsars, Nazis, Communists, and look, we are the same people with same tradition, we are not Italians, to lock our houses, against 100 non armed refugees.
Accept it or not, but Western Europe is beautiful, rich lady, but without defense, on other hand, Eastern Europe is one strong, homogenous, fresh blood guy. For future of Europe, it looks like she will be impregnated.

There was a funny German phrase in the late 90´s early 2000....today stolen tomorrow in Poland... nearly all cars stolen during that time in Germany went straight to Poland and from there to the east and middle east....

It was not Italians who crushed the Ottoman navy at Lepanto? Somehow never anyone mentioned all the poles at the sea battles we did stopping the ottomans. How comes? Where was the powerful polish armada at Lepanto?
