Point Of View with ArzooKazmi : An Indian Muslim's stance on Ayodhya

Yea the case is going on since 1993 - 17 years now. Any sane nation will first establish tat guilt before piling on it by making a mega temple. But then it is india.
Any sane judiciary wouldn't conflate two separate cases even if they are related.

Ram jamanbhi/Babri mosques land dispute case was going since 1950s onward, you should be thankful to Hindu patience who waited 70 long years for a judgement to arrive about space which means so much to them.

Not judiciary you dimwit. When someone is still investigating (even by a kangaroo court) whether a structure was illegally demolished will anyone go ahead and construct another structure over the demolished one ? Temple Construction is being done by indian state cooperation not judiciary. It should (I hate to be sucked in to indian state logic though) atleast wait until both judgements are passed - something anyone with a common heart will do.

The Indian supreme court hanged Afzal guru on just suspicion/circumstantial evidence... to appease Indian (collective conscience).. then you release the Sikh airport officer who was caught red handed in transporting terrorists.. he was investigation in charge of guru, btw.
Then the SC judge got parliament seat for giving verdict in favour of ram trust... @Suriya

where does it say, it was built on any mandir? @The Eagle
THis is the execute part of unanimous five judge bench verdict that included one Muslim judge.

While individual verdict of at least three judges agree to ASI report that suggested underneath structure of the mosque was a Hindu temple.
It can't be conclusively proved on ASI report alone if the temple was destructed or in abandoned condition when the mosque was built over it.

You are under too many misapprehension here. That's it.

source... as I heard court never said that.. in Faizan Mustafa series...

The Supre Court ruled that the Demolition of the Babri Masjid and the 1949 desecration of the Babri Masjid was in violation of law.

A separate criminal case is going on the destruction of Babri mosque.
Not talking about legal proceedings...whatever happens in the confines of the law by the appropriate authorities is fine.

The issue is the mob taking the law into its own hands...and nothing concrete being done against it after all this time. A criminal case dragging in court for decades doesn't really deliver justice...rather it's incompetence in delivering justice.

There is no solid proof that there was a mandir at this place. The RSS goons usually burry idols and then take a mob and dig it out and claimed it as mandir. What the hindus failed to understand is that muslims will never make a mosque on top of mandir, an idol worshipping place, considered unclean by muslims.
The court could have turned it into museum or kept status quo but it chose the hindu way. I as a Pakistani am happy, it might knock some sense into indian muslims.

"Hindus" really ? if babar detroyed temple officiated only by brahmins from cowbelt - how is it a problem for a dalit in tamil nadu. A country whose judiciary cannot prosecute vast majority of crimes in modern era is prosecuting something happened centuries ago when its judicial system did not even exist and making it a problem of "hindus" while ignoring their real problems of dignity, occupation etc.

I never dreamt I would agree with any post by you. Well said. The arrogance of those who claim ownership of an entire community, including those that they have victimised over the centuries, is what stands out from this whole mess.

Demolition of Ram temple to build a Mosque in its place was a grave act committed by Babar against the Hindus.

But undoing that act to rebuild the temple does not serve any purpose.

Hindus should forgive but not forget.

The mosque should have been left as-is as a reminder and to demonstrate the atrocities committed by the erst while Islamic rulers on Hindus for generations to come.
we are comparing an atrocity of Babur 500 years ago (who by the way fought another Muslim to grab rule..so it wasn't about Islam to begin with & this is assuming ram temple even existed) with atrocities of "democratic govt" in 21th century.

my God..what has the world come to ....

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Pujan: The Liberal Meltdown

Fascinating.

So you think putting icing sugar on a pile of shit makes it instant temptation?

Why am I not surprised? Enjoy inhaling the temptation. I don't know about others, but I have other things to do.

Taj mahal was mandir previously...
same as Qutab Minar...
and may be Lal Qila..

Business as usual. Mota Bhai is the Home Minister now; what's the law got to do with it?

No, it isn't. It's the individual judges deciding discretion is the better part of valour. It's judges deciding that they don't want to see cases foisted on them or transfers done, if they don't jump through hoops.
