Point Of View with ArzooKazmi : An Indian Muslim's stance on Ayodhya

Caste system is far from being rectified. Hinduism itself did not create that change when it comes to caste, it was government laws and the constitution that forced the change.

It is the majority practicing Hindus who created that constitution.

With all due respect, count me out. I understand your version, it just is that I don't subscribe to it.

Hinduism considers all people as Hindus. It is the individual's prerogative what to believe and follow. Hinduism does not mandate.

It is the majority practicing Hindus who created that constitution.

So? Majority practicing Hindus also drive taxis. Does that mean Hinduism is responsible for driving taxis? What kind of logic are you using?

All are hindus but only brahmins will be priests and everyone must marry within their own caste. I can declare all humans as belonging to my made up religion of "worship the giant turtle" and it has exactly the same meaning as yours.

BS. You are talking with no knowledge.

Anyone who passes the courses required can become a priest in the temple.

There are thousands of non-Brahmin priests including Muslim priests all over India.

More SC/ST members to become priests in Kerala
  • Quota system to be followed
    M. Rajagopalan Nair, chairman, KDRB of the Board, said the 32 per cent caste reservation policy would be strictly followed in the appointment and as many as 10 priests belonging to SC/ST communities and 50 OBC community members would get the appointment in temples in the next turn.

There were over 150 vacancies of priests in temples of Kochi Devaswom Board and another 30 in Guruvayur Devaswom and the reservation policy would be applied here, he said.

The recruitment of six youths, who belonged to the earlier socially outcast communities, had kicked up a storm in the social sector of the State as their forefathers were even denied the right to walk through the public roads and worship in temples.

The six Dalits who have been selected include P.R. Yadukrishna, a Pulaya community member, P.S. Sumesh, G. Jeevan, and M.K. Pradeepkumar (Pulaya) and P.C. Manoj (Vettuva).

:blah::blah::blah::blah:

A Pakistani in US talking about what happens in India.

Your BS has been thoroughly exposed.

Now all you have is rants. nothing else.

What happened was fully wrong. Hindus are coming out of casteism. Anything else in this whataboutery?

I know deep inside yourself, you still believe it's ok to destroy temples if a mosque is to built in its place. And thus the silence when he displayed info about the enlightened invaders.

Accept faults and move on.
What is wrong in destroying monuments that perpetuate apartheid?

I think some of the ancestors were busy converting to Islam to avoid being killed while others were busy working over time to pay the Jizyah.

Preventing the destruction of the temples was the last thing on their mind.

At least people should learn from history to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
Typical baniya mentality.

You Hindus will never learn.

MONEY is the major concern. No wonder your inferiority complex is sky high. Learn from @Rakesh and move on.

Hope Islam could emulate Hinduism to provide rights to their women.

Please read this thread of mine from 2015 about an article that mentions Maneka Gandhi ( the Minister of Women and Child development and a Hindu ) wanting Hindu and other non-Muslim marriages to have pre-nuptial agreements for the security of the women. The article is written by an Indian Christian woman who married her Muslim husband under Islamic marriage law so that her socio-economic security was better met.
