PNS Babur confront the indian navy Ship

You again at this height ..not new.
What was the reason PNS BABUR to brush INS GODAVARI?
Is it any expressway or city roads to overtake.?
U got plenty of space over there ..change your course.
Brushing a ship means violating International Navigational rule.
every navy knows that...aren't yours. Do u r chaps get enough training ?
This shows heights of immaturity.
getting a ship under your control is not enough for captain...Its his moral responsibility to bring it back save and ensure it didn't cause any inconvenience to other vessels around.
And once again don't quote me untill or unless u have clear picture whats going on and what has taken place.
Have an open my sir.
Regards
I am not interested in quoting cheap trolls...Captain of Babur do the correct things to remind Indians of their place...Where u r own Govt refuse to pay the pledged amount even for their own citizens but trying cheap to get the credit...

NO that was happened during rescue mission to get sailors back from Somali pirates because Pakistani Ansar Burney paid the ransom and Indian wants to take advantage to get the Indian + Pakistan ship crew back to India that happened before where Indian kept our freed people for some time...This time also they tries but Pakistani Captain make it clear to Indian navy who is the boss.

Escorting MV Suez: Row deepens as India lodges counter-protest
New Delhi blames Islamabad for jeopardising safety of Indian navy ship.

NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD:

In a classic tit-for-tat move that has come to define their volatile relationship, New Delhi on Saturday lodged a protest with Islamabad over Pakistan naval ship (PNS) Babur violating relevant regulations on navigational safety by its “risky” manoeuvres, and jeopardising the safety of Indian naval ship (INS) Godavari and its crew, the Times of India reported on Saturday.

On Friday, the Pakistan Foreign Office had lodged an identical complaint with the Indian government over the “dangerous manoeuvre” of INS Godavari as it escorted Egyptian merchant vessel (MV) Suez, recently released by Somali pirates, to Port Salalah in Oman.

Both PNS Babur and INS Godavari are providing cover for MV Suez that has 22 released hostages on board, including six Indians, 11 Egyptians, four Pakistanis and one Sri Lankan, freed after 10 months in captivity.

The protests come a day after Pakistan and India announced that their top diplomats would meet in Islamabad next week to discuss the Kashmir dispute, along with issues pertaining to peace and security between the two nations, for the first time in three years.

After Pakistan lodged its complaint, Indian external affairs ministry released a statement on Saturday saying the Naval advisor of the Pakistan high commission had been summoned by the ministry of defence and “our serious concern on this incident was conveyed.”

Alternative accounts

According to the Pakistani foreign office, PNS Babur, part of the international combined task force on anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden, had been escorting MV Suez when the Indian warship moved dangerously close to PNS Babur and brushed against it almost 100 nautical miles east of Port Salalah.

An Indian navy official refuted Pakistani allegations that an Indian vessel had put at risk MV Suez. “Reports of aggression by INS Godavari are incorrect and based on misinformation,” he said.

As per Indian media reports, INS Godavari had joined up with MV Suez on June 16 to escort the ship which is carrying six Indians among 22 sailors.

Taking credit

The Indian navy has already been under immense domestic pressure for not sending help in time to sailors and being beaten by Pakistan in measures to get the hostages released and escorted back to safety.

The release materialised after hectic efforts by the Ansar Burney Trust, which arranged a $2.1 million ransom to rescue the hostages last Monday.

India, which was due to contribute $500,000 as part of its share of the ransom fee, never turned up with its promised amount, almost putting the lives of 22 sailors in jeopardy.

After the sailors and their ship were released by pirates on Tuesday,MV Suez once again came under attack from Somali pirates. However, by this time PNS Babur had reached the ship and thwarted the attack.

Impact on talks

The event has snowballed into a diplomatic row as both countries lodged tit-for-tat protests with each other for impeding humanitarian missions.

However, it is not yet clear if the latest incident could impact crucial foreign secretary-level talks on June 23-24.

The two-day parleys will also discuss confidence building measures (CBMs) and promotion of friendly exchanges, the statement said.

Talks on the Kashmir dispute, which has been the main source of friction between the two countries for the past 60 years, will be the first since the November 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Suez runs out of fuel

Meanwhile, Burney announced on Saturday that although technical faults in MV Suez had been fixed, the ship has run out of fuel.

Speaking to Express 24/7, Burney said that if fuel is not supplied toMV Suez in the next 24 hours, all of its crew will have to be rescued.

Pakistan Navy sources add that the Panama based company which owns Suez has ordered another ship The Hasic to assist the stranded vessel.

The Hasic is expected to tow Suez early Sunday morning.

guys are creating mess over old incident...and propagating false info...

this video appeared during the incident mv suez, but there is only incident of brushing, isn't it?

could have been left at good hearted chanting and waving but that maneuver was unnecessary and idiotic.
Whats the need of chanting when they can't hear it.
You need to get up close, Hence it was not an idiotic move.

Oh my my...
Indians talking about professionalism of the PN Babur Cap.
They are right, but also wrong.
When the stupid PN Cap got up close, Did someone break the hands and mouth of the INS Cap???
I mean why didn't he turn the boat around, to save his crew and all???

So this means that the Indians were also Idiots.

It is clear from the video above that the PN ship flouted all accepted maritime rules as the passing ship and veered into the INS Godavari who, as the being passed vessel, was doing the right thing in holding a steady course but was forced to take evasive action.

PNS Babur was expected to steer around the Godavari but intentionally swerved into the INS. This is totally improper and unbecoming of a (supposedly) proffesional naval force. Playing these games in frigates is beyond absurd.

As I have pointed out above- the INS was doing the exactly the right thing- holding steady course as it was the being passed vessel. Once the PNS turned into the INS the INS quickly pulled away. It is as clear as day who was in the wrong.

182 Is Pakistan's Navy Ship (PNS BABUR).
During Sea exercises they came across Indian Navy Ship. To show the power and to give those idiots a lesson who were making videos to show to their country fellows.

PNS BABUR gave Indian Navy Ship a Hit and officers and sailors on board were chanting Pakistan Zindabad and ALLAH O AKBAR.

Pakistan Navy showed them how strong we are and what's their actual position in front of Pakistan Navy.

Thankyou Sheeraz Hasan for Sharing the Video.

NOTE: Video has been made from Indian Ship and Please ignore the vulgar language being used by Indians.

A little less sabre rattling will help the situation.

And in doing so contravened all established maritime rules, you call that professionalism? His job isn't to "show Indians their place", what kind of logic is this? The more you try to justify this act the more you sound like a banana republic with no regard for international norms.

pn was lucky it was one of our smaller ships and our carrier was not around.a single mig29 sonic-boom over the babur and it would've been comic silence all around.
@MaarKhoor
our palace?buddy,we are considered one of the most powerfull and professional navy around the world with second highest no. of aircraft carriers.if we compare to your, our place is certainly miles above yours.your great navy calls a 3500 tonnage ship a destroyer and we call a 6200 tonnage ship a frigate.that should tell you which navy has which place.

To be honest with you, this video gladdens my heart.

If this is the caliber of the officers of Pakistan Navy, then the lord is really kind to us.

This speaks of two things that define caliber:

1. Professionalism - evident by the behaviour and course of action taken by the Captain and his crew. No explanations required here.

2. Knowledge - The captain of the Pakistani Naval ship forgot one simple rule - what happens when a heavy Steel ship collides with a light Aluminum ship. A simple answer would be - a hot knife on butter.

He risked the lives of his own men, not the Indians.

And this gives us an insight on the professional competence of Pakistan Navy. A gem of a find. Thank you OP.

Shut up...INS doing cheap tactics we have to respond them...cheap people cheap tactics cheap thinking
What was the INS doing wrong? It held a steady course as is mandated of the ship being passed, the impotus was entirely on the PNS to steer around the ship it was overtaking which they failed to do and instead steered into the INS whilst her crew shouted Islamic war cries and this is something you are actualy defending? If so the rot is so deep within your society that not only are you willing to write off such incidents but worse you try to justify them.

I guess the PN has abandoned proffesionlism as they are little more than a coast guard and instead get their jollies from ramming other ships on the high seas?

True true, not only do they face a significant disadvantdge in their force levels but apparently they aren't even well led (which is perhaps untrue for the PAF and PA). It's a very grim situation for the PN indeed, perhaps this is what happens when you have a force so utterly neglected and cast aside that the officers feel untouchable and that they need to demonstrate their "manliness".

Don't proud on self exploding navy...INS sindhurakshak :argh:
:rofl: dude, our one carrier weighs more then your entire navy.
you are using a stupid argument.its like saying to americans they shouldnt be proud of their gigantic navy bcos of forrestal disaster.but whatever, anything to give yourself solace.

Lol, showed India its place.

Had our ship captain not been cool and stayed on its path today PNS Babur had been deep in the ocean, you see it was Steel vs Aluminum.

However that wouldn't have had caused any difference to PN. You see apart from the lone OHP and F22P those Type21s are junks just able to keep floating.
