PM unveils big defence purchase plan

These defence purchases are aimed at Myanmar. Nothing here to displease India. As long as BD does nothing to improve the condition and effectiveness of the army India will be content.

I doubt however that we can defeat Myanmar just from the air.

A tension at the BD-Burma border is good. Because it gives BD a beautiful pretext to purchase more arms. Indian objections are then easily surmounted. Important thing is to raise the strength of BD military. It can be used then against any aggression.

A friend of mine participated in the tender process but was informed the whole things has been cancelled.

Why am i not suprised.....

Lets see what the actual procurement list is and the cost which I am sure will be inflated. We need to verify quality and the origin of the equipment that will be purchased.
