Plan 1919 was a strategy written by J.F.C. Fuller, ready for the potential continuation of Allied fighting in 1919. In the event, the Armistice was signed on 11 November 1918 and fighting ceased. However, a number of the preparations featured in the Plan for fighting in 1919 had begun, including tank production. Fuller's Plan 1919 would continue to be studied long after the First World War had ended and influenced the Blitzkrieg tactics used by Germany in the Second World War.
