LAHORE - A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight escaped disaster on Tuesday morning as the pilot managed to land the aircraft safely after a bird hit its engine. According to details, PIA’s Airbus 310 was approaching Allama Iqbal International Airport when a bird hit one of its engines. When I was flying from lahore airport, I noticed the same thing. There were way too many birds flying over the airport. This is extremely dangerous and costly for any airliner.
