Pew Survey: Pakistanis Strongly Believe in Working Hard to Succeed

Thats old figure I think. going by the recent spate of killings in Karachi, it should be in the top 5.

So it's 1,142 murders in Karachi, a megacity of 18 million people.

First, Karachi is much bigger than all of the cities ranked above it. In fact, it's one of the largest megacities in the world bigger than most of the UN members states in terms of population.

Second, Karachi is not anywhere near the top 25 cities in terms of murders per 100,000 residents in spite of recent spike in violence.

So when it comes to India( a country of 1.2 Billion people), its about absolute numbers, but when it comes to Karachi a Pakistani city, its suddenly about murders/100,000:lol:

What a hypocrite, but then again its not the first time and going by your shameless peddling of fake/misinterpreted data again and again, this won't be the last either.

Whatever happened to the thread : "Pakistanis Strongly Believe in Working Hard to Succeed" ?

People do what is rewarded.

This is only to be expected from his ilk. This is what gets rewarded in his place and his ilk is the reason Pakistan is in the sorry state it is in.

His state of the art comments that India has highest number of illiterates in the world and want to compare it with Pakistan with literacy rate of 58% and education budget of 0.9% of GDP.:lol:

Absolute numbers of murders in Karachi is at #12, not #1 as it is in India's case.

In fact, India's 40,700 murders are far higher than 25,000 murders in second ranked country Mexico where there is a drug war going on.

India also has much much higher suicide rate than Pakistan...many of these suicides are in fact murders that are wrongly categorized by the corrupt Indian Police.

"Shocked by the drop in murder-related deaths, researchers apprehend the police might be reporting murders as suicides and accidents. "

Well that's what he thinks. But if you look at the reality, most Pakistanis don't seem to like him. Neither his real life achievements nor his online posts make his country men proud I guess.

Still HDI figure and percentage speaks the true state. :enjoy:

HDI clearly does not reflect the depth of human deprivation in India. The other indicators do.

One example:

India will not reach its Millennium Development Goal on sanitation before 2047, a century after independence.

Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal will not achieve the target before 2028, according to a United Nations report released on the eve of World Toilet Day 2011.
