Pentagon’s big budget F-35 fighter ‘can’t turn, can’t climb, can’t run’

Search in the History man, you will get your answer....................and it true not just for USA but for any nation.
haha really!!
and what makes u think i don't know the history??

there are 63+ working flying f-35 around the globe man,,,its not in proto stage anymore.
there are 10-12 customers for it,not some 3 rd world desperate countries but countries that can afford other things too, guess all cannot be stupid.

but its a bad choice for countries like canada and australia due to their huge country size.a fighter with one engine and small range is a bad option all the was

Now its confirm that you don't know that specific project.

. . . . .
its not only about bvr,,,it has got better irst,,better radar, better maws, better jammers than everything out there and possibly the best stealth after f-22.

there is no way anything can compete with this,,,it may look like a giant flying potato but it will do its job mercilessly

You're right man but I'm just saying. All of that stuff would mainly help you from a long distance.

thats the usa strategy man,,,they are not getting 100-200 of these!!
they are gonna acquire 1800 of these for carrier operations,,,so all will work in tandem to submit the opposition

The title of the thread still makes me laugh :sarcastic:

Actually the 1800 number is true for the F-35As that the USAF will get. These don't operate from carriers. The F-35Bs and Cs that the marines and the navy will get are the only ones able to operate from aircraft carriers. And the navy will get some specialized F-18s as well to jam enemy radars because the F-35 only has a jammer for x-band radars.

yes u are indeed right.

What's with the F-35 obsession lately on PDF? The rest of the world does not even have an Equivalent of this. Lets not criticize something we have no clue off.
Petty jealousy. Plain and simple. The F-35 is a technically ambitious project to the scale that for now NO ONE ELSE, including Russia, have the technical balls to attempt even on paper, let alone production, and every major aviation power in the world know this.

Most people here have never felt the recoil of a .22 caliber, let alone know what it is like to stand next to a nuclear bomb. Most people here have never been in a worn cockpit of an F-16, let alone know what it is like pulling 9gs in one. Most people here have never sat in a hours long planning session for an air refuel training mission, let alone know what it is like to go hard ride TFR over the water at 50 meters altitude.

What else can they do but to latch onto every single technical issues, of which nothing is immune from having, to try to make the aircraft the failure they wish it could be. Notice the more technically behind the country from US, the more noise those people make. Their oft 'I knew it...' is a symptom of that envy, as if they speak with their mouths from years of personal experience in aviation instead of the stinking farts they expelled with their anuses from last nights' meals.

Fact 1: F-35 is less stealthy than F-22 due to being a jack of all trades fighter-bomber.

Fact 2: F-35 has lower top speed than F-22

Fact 3: F-35 is less manoeuvrable than F-22

It is a pile of crap that will get destroyed by a competently designed 5th generation air-superiority fighter from another country.

Yes, which both Russia and China are also testing on their 5th generation fighters.

Did you have any point?
