Sorry bro but i think you missed the point he was presenting. Unlike what most of such posts usually say, i will say "DO NOT WATCH from 36 min" Watch it from the start to know what the argument was about. What Hamza was doing was NOT asking for citizenship but bashing our lack of concern. Anyway.

One thing that Hamza got wrong was the fact that Pakistani citizenship is one of the hardest ones to get. Just so that you and other people know. Check the law, rules and regulations and you will see that it is one of the hardest ones to acquire.

I'm all for sending medical and food stuffs to assist the Rohingia refugees. But the Bangladeshis who are the ethnic kin of the Rohingia should be doing the most to assist them in this crisis. We took in refugees from Afghanistan when they were under similar circumstances. Also Arabs should be taking up the financial costs. Why aren't they?

We are NOT poor. Our own people have looted us. Add the looters' assets and by no stretch we are poor! Wealth and resources are in the hands of few, and that has driven the poverty levels up.

This nation can feed a million & more refugees easily. It is our selfishness, insecurities and addiction to materialism. Buying that car or that blinging new mobile is more important than feeding the poor so yeah we should be working on developing ourselves - only then we will see that we need to help those in dire need.

Issue is that desi liberals get hung up on one sentence and ignore the paragraph &/or the essay - tunnel vision! Just as they are hung up on giving refuge versus the mass slaughter of babies, kids, women and men. It is shameful, really shameful. If partition was happening today, such people would be utterly insensitive to those slaughtered on the way and likely saying 'give them aid but don't give them refuge' even if it means certain death. Such people need to see the images of chopped up bodies to awaken some humanity (beyond mere aid) in them, and then maybe they will understand the anger of some over inaction.
