PDM Minister Criticized by Cuban Ambassador for Humiliating his Country

The DPRK is an utter hellhole and everyone is poor in cuba

is equality of misery really your thing ?

communism = depression, poverty, food shortages, some authority controlling every aspect of your life..

fvck communism
Check the HDI and GDP per capita of your India and compare it to Cuba. People in Cuba live way better than Indians.

now now.... that is not exactly true....

it was a mutually agreed terms to withdraw from both sides; we gave namibia its independence so that Fidel could use it for his victory speech. We got to return back from 30 yrs of conflict back.

All this was done because Pik Botha and the Foreign minister of Cuba at the time; met over a bar after 5 days of useless brokered talks between Russians/US...... It was Pik over some drinks said to the Cubans.... we are done being dictated to by the US and Cubans said they too felt like 2nd class citizens.... Deal was stuck in a bar. Next day at the negotiating table we left together with the Cubans to the horror of both Russians and US - they never believed us; Pik told them,...go home, we reached the deal last night.... what... without us...

YES without these colonialists and communists masters.

Our sides had the balls to stand up face each other and shake hands.... like real men.

Marxist regime in Angola got to stay in power while Jonas Savambi and his UNITA group were abandoned

Where are the likes of @Chak Bamu now?
Do you think I have nothing better to do all day?

Now that you have tagged me, tell me something: do you want Pakistan to be sanctioned like Cuba or North Korea? Do you think it is wrong to avoid being like either of those? I respect Cuba & Cubans, but still do you think that would translate to wanting to be in their position?

What do you think will happen if Pakistan lost ~ 15 Billion USD in trade with the Western Hemisphere due to possible sanctions? Do you think that would be something good? How do you suppose we shall get foreign exchange to buy Oil without which the country can not function? How will our power plants run? How will trade & industry be possible? What shall we do with the extremes of unemployment? What will we do about the mass unrest that will occur?

You live in Italy. It is easy for you to buy Imranist crap cakes because consuming these does not affect your survival. It is a different matter altogether for those of us who actually live in Pakistan. So, think a little about the country & its economy instead of bleating like an Insafi sheep.

Perhaps choice of words could be a bit better, but there is no denying the logic & the argument. Only fools would disrespect their country to secure political points. Don't be a fool.

Surprised to know that Pakistanis have such feel affection for Cuba 😯
We actually do. Ahsan Iqbal's words were not well chosen.

Bravo sir. Well said.

Interesting parallel to Shimla negotiations between Bhutto & Indra Gandhi. They came to terms during a walk in Shimla. It was a good deal for Pakistan, given the circumstances. India has also used the agreement to its advantage.

I would not wish my worst enemies to be deported to North Korea

But why not ? They would be free of :

Actually that would be the best opportunity to reconfigure a revolutionary Pakistani society internally and develop deep ties in all spheres with steadfast societies such as Russia, Syria, DPRK, Venezuela, Cuba, Jamahiriya Libyans, China of course etc. Grab all the right-winger mullahs and toss them to the Western societies where they belong and bring in a radical, progressive political system which worked in Libya for more than three decades and is being implemented in Venezuela, and a new progressive socio-economic system, both disconnected from the Western, plutocratic Capitalism-oriented systems.

You dont need to defend every idiotic comment from PMLN now. The comment is idiotic and insulting for a nation, no matter how poor their circumstances are. Think from their side, how would you feel if country said we don’t want to be like Pakistanis?
(I know some smart a s will say yes that is right, nobody should be like Pakistan … just stop. You are a self hater with no self respect, so don't bother responding.)

Secondly, its not just Pakistan not wanting to be like Cuba, but Ahsan also put Cuba and North Korea into the same category… whats next put Iran in there as well now?
This was completely un diplomatic and un cultured, and has been condemned by the Cuban ambassador.

99% of Americans consume stuff to drive the entire world economy

You know a poor person in America gets free K-12 education, free lunch, free library, discounted utilities, social security, medicare and possibly medicaid.

Add the right to freely express yourself. Try that in North Korea.

How can you argue in favor of the extreme of wealth concentration in one family (North Korea), & the associated hardships (hunger, isolation, condemnation, very very parochial education, etc...)?

Also, do pay heed to Pakistan's population & our dependence on energy-intensive agriculture that would be severely disrupted due to energy starvation because of lack of foreign exchange. For an ideolugue (idiologue, really) a hundred million death by starvation would not be an issue. But others do not think like this.

So, no thanks, we do not really need your prescriptions for our destruction. All we need is equitable taxation (including a tax on agricultural income) & we'd be good. Don't worry about us. Just visit a psychiatrist instead.

I agree that the choice of words was wrong. You can not find fault with the thought though.

99% of Americans consume stuff to drive the entire world economy

Consume what ? "Six-pack" beer, personal cars and mindless action films where the viewer is asked to suspend disbelief and just watch all the "superheroes" from various stories of a comics company coming together in a single film ? I wish USA focused only on enabling technology creation and scientific discovery.

You know a poor person in America gets free K-12 education, free lunch, free library, discounted utilities, social security, medicare and possibly medicaid.

Add the right to freely express yourself. Try that in North Korea.

I wonder why the Occupy Wall Street movement asked for abolishment of American Capitalism then and asked for free healthcare, free education etc. And what is a "poor person" ? So many Americans get bankrupt or indebted in paying for homes, healthcare and education.

I agree that North Korea is not entirely Communist because it is run by a party and not the people which Communism desires and on top of that it is run by a dynasty. But North Korea still is a Socialist society where the system provides things like free housing unlike Pakistan where late last year two young men suicided by throwing themselves from the higher levels of two separate shopping malls and they did this because they were unemployed and the Pakistani socio-economic system which is Capitalist refused to help them survive. Doesn't this strike you as unjust ?

And North Korea's "isolation" is not voluntary but imposed by NATO. You will find tourists and progressive delegations from other countries visiting North Korea. You can go too. And NK's education is good enough to make it self-reliant generally unlike Pakistan where people have to go outside to seek education and to develop professionally still Pakistan is not developed. Can you tell me what is the number of workforce of Pakistan ?

And if I am saddened by the deaths of two people as above I would also be by the deaths of a hundred million. Hold a gun to the heads of the Saudis and demand oil. They are the ummah people, yes ? And Russia and Algeria are there to provide oil or gas too. Ban personal cars and those ugly motorcycles and enable intra-city public transport only through buses and taxis. And then get your electricity and materials scientists to design new power sources. Check out the wonderful work being done by the American company NDB which is developing an power cell which uses radioactive waste enclosed with artificial diamond. Check out the work being done by the German organization Neutrino Energy Group which is developing the ultimate form of electricity production - using the omnipresent neutrino particles. Just get your scientists to do this. If you enlist especially the last method you will not need to import energy from any place.

And you recommend me a psychiatrist but you propagate the system of taxation. Are you living under a monarch or a feudal where you are forced to give taxes for income and for even human rights such as water and electricity ? I though you were living in an evolved society.

62% of Americans are homeowners. 35% of Americans own their home outright. Debt is fine if you can afford it.

We have the freedom to consume "Six-pack" beer, personal cars and mindless action films. A lot of us create technology the entire world runs on -- Internet, Boeing jetliners, Intel microprocessors, semiconductor fabrication equipment etc. A lot of us camp and hike and enjoy the beautiful nature. Human beings are complex. Get used to it

It is true the 1% are unbelievably rich, but the rest of the 99% of the USA is NOT "poor" by any stretch.

That dumb socialist kid from the occupy protests and his silly poster means nothing but a reflection of his intellect.

62% of Americans are homeowners. 35% of Americans own their home outright.

And what about the rest who are not homeowners and thus either homeless or are indebted to acquire something as a basic human right as a home ? The USA government can spend 700+ billion dollars as the military budget for just 2020-21 to maintain a Capitalist imperialist invasions-oriented military and invade such progressive countries as the Libyan Jamahiriya ( no longer existing ) and North Korea where the system provides free housing but the same USA government doesn't care for the welfare of its own citizens by providing them with free homes and instead preferring to keep them homeless out in the sun, cold and rain ? This is irrational. Why is one American citizen homeless but the American president in a palace ? I quote from my thread from 2016 whose OP is an essay by Muammar Gaddafi from 2011 :
"In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful..

For 40 years, or was it longer, I can’t remember, I did all I could to give people houses, hospitals, schools, and when they were hungry, I gave them food. I even made Benghazi into farmland from the desert.

I stood up to attacks from that cowboy Reagan. When he killed my adopted orphaned daughter, he was trying to kill me; instead he killed that poor innocent child.

Then I helped my brothers and sisters from Africa with money for the African Union, did all I could to help people understand the concept of real democracy, where people’s committees ran our country.

But that was never enough, as some told me. Even people who had 10-room homes, new suits and furniture, were never satisfied. As selfish as they were they wanted more, and they told Americans and other visitors, they needed ‘democracy’, and ‘freedom’, never realising it was a cut-throat system, where the biggest dog eats the rest.

They were enchanted with those words, never realising that in America, there was no free medicine, no free hospitals, no free housing, no free education and no free food, except when people had to beg or go to long lines to get soup.

No, no matter what I did, it was never enough for some. But for others, they knew I was the son of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the only true Arab and muslim leader we’ve had since Salah ad-Din. When Nasser claimed the Suez Canal for his people, as I claimed Libya for my people, it was in his footsteps I tried to follow, to keep my people free from colonial domination - from thieves who would steal from us …

Now, I am under attack by the biggest force in military history. My little African son Obama wants to kill me, to take away the freedom of our country: to take away our free housing, our free medicine, our free education, our free food, and replace it with American-style thievery, called ‘capitalism’.

But all of us in the Third World know what that means. It means corporations run the countries, run the world, and the people suffer.

So there is no alternative for me; I must make my stand, and if Allah wishes, I shall die by following his path - the path that has made our country rich with farmland, with food and health, and even allowed us to help our African and Arab brothers and sisters to work here with us, in the Libyan Jamahiriya.

I do not wish to die, but if it comes to that, to save this land, my people, all the thousands who are all my children, then so be it.

Let this testament be my voice to the world: that I stood up to crusader attacks of Nato, stood up to cruelty, stood up to betrayal, stood up the West and its colonialist ambitions. And that I stood with my African brothers, my true Arab and muslim brothers, as a beacon of light.

When others were building castles, I lived in a modest house, and in a tent. I never forgot my youth in Sirte. I did not spend our national treasury foolishly, and like Salah ad-Din, our great muslim leader, who rescued Jerusalem for Islam, I took little for myself …

In the West, some have called me ‘mad’ or ‘crazy’. They know the truth but continue to lie. They know that our land is independent and free, not in the colonial grip; that my vision, my path, is and has been clear and for my people, and that I will fight to my last breath to keep us free. May Allah almighty help us to remain faithful and free."

Translated by Professor Sam Hamod.
5 April 2011

Debt is fine if you can afford it.

If you can afford it ? Why should one have the unnecessary worries about paying the monthly installments for loans added with interest ? This on top of paying tax for even water and electricity and other such things ?

We have the freedom to consume "Six-pack" beer, personal cars and mindless action films.

USA is among the top three polluters in the world including India and China and much of this pollution comes via the personal cars and two-wheelers industry primarily, secondarily and tertiarily. Close to you in USA the South American glaciers are melting. So the American freedom to have personal cars has contributed to climate change. Personal cars and two-wheelers throughout the world should be banned and intra-city transport made available only through buses and taxis. There's no point arranging for governmental climate change conferences in Scotland or where ever if the governments cannot take radical steps.

And it would be good if instead of Americans guzzling on six-pack beer and watching mindless action films they overthrow the Capitalism system they have. Some Americans were serious about this in 2011 but their movement was subverted by the Establishment.

A lot of us create technology the entire world runs on -- Internet, Boeing jetliners, Intel microprocessors, semiconductor fabrication equipment etc.

I already acknowledged the technological contribution of some Americans, though Boeing planes are not respect-worthy among them, but Americans also came by their own contributions because of prior work done by various parties such as Egyptians, Greeks, pre-European Americans, Indians, the Islamic Golden Age and then the European Renaissance and Industrial Age.

A lot of us camp and hike and enjoy the beautiful nature. Human beings are complex. Get used to it

There are photos on the internet of White people, possibly Americans, posing with dead bodies of beautiful caracal cats they just killed by shooting. These people are criminals who should be presented to a firing squad for killing cats. If these people feel brave by holding guns why can't they form armed revolutionary groups in USA and bring progressive ideas there ?

Cubans would have cars and homes too if you didn't cripple thier economy with sanctions.

Oh they have managed to give homes to their citizens despite the sanctions but there's no need to have personal cars. :) Please read above.

It is true the 1% are unbelievably rich, but the rest of the 99% of the USA is NOT "poor" by any stretch.

We can stretch that argument to claim that most Indians are also not poor.

That dumb socialist kid from the occupy protests and his silly poster means nothing but a reflection of his intellect.

His intellect is superior to you it seems. :)

Oh they have managed to give homes to their citizens despite the sanctions but there's no need to have personal cars. :)
correction, because its a full commie country, most of their citizens have no MEANS to purchase private vehicles.

will you ever stop with your anti private vehicle agenda ?

even in Sweden, Germany or Swizerland, which boast of arguably some of the best infra/public transport in the world, people prefer to own their means of transport.

People like freedom more than free-things.

We can stretch that argument to claim that most Indians are also not poor.
We're not universally poor like they are over in Cuba and the DPRK.

Most people I know own multiple cars/bikes and more that one piece of real estate.. nobody except for regime higher ups and chamchas can say as much in those communist hell holes you're constantly glorifying.

Can say this though, that Cuba, despite their many faults, is far superior to crazy Kim's giant gulag of a country. At least they have good beaches, fishing, cigars, music, food.. they have their own culture, one might say... while crazy Kim's pathetic gulag scores a grand 0 on any and all of those metrics. /fact

How on earth can you even defend, much less be full of praise for a state like the DPRK ?!?! ...smh :tsk:

His intellect is superior to you it seems. :)
Excuse me, but it is not/never me who goes around the forum spouting solutions to the worlds problems, such as the one pill to cure it all for all the countries of the world and the entire human race..

who might it be who constantly does that, then ?
