The existential crisis you feel is not something faced by 99% of all people of the world. Their countries don't exist to serve a purpose, they exist to serve their nation - serve their nation to prosper, pay their bills, live and die happily."What is the National Narrative in Pakistan Today?"
Every State has a Narrative. This is what is taught to children in schools. So Pakistan must have one. But it just seems to me that we do not as yet possess such a clear National or Existential Narrative.
Every nation has a value system not a narrative. There is no Legend of the Americans fables that are taught to American kids.
Value systems are always evolving too, human kind does not live in a stasis.
This is a widely-recognized the problem with the TNT.
I didn't say Pakistan was created for the Muslims I said it was created for the persecuted minorities of India at that time.
Pakistan still allows anyone to naturalize as a Pakistani, its just not a simple matter of showing up on our borders as it was back then. As I said our requirement of that time, Indian minorities requirement of that time and our and theirs requirements of today are very different.
A process still exists. Its called Naturalization.
