Interesting info:

In fact, there will be no U.S. government-owned military airplanes either flying or on static display because of the automatic “sequestration” budget cuts roiling the Pentagon. This is the first time since 2001 that a Russian fighter will take part in the Paris flying display and the first time that a U.S. fighter is absent from the event since 1991.

yes,and since almost all big planes are American..airshows this year are gona be boring...Unless Russians decide to fill the gap, which i doubt...
Aero India 2013 got very lucky then! But then a C-17 and F-16 doing a few flying displays and on static isn't all that special (IMHO).

C-17 and F-16 were sent USA as in USAF or the manufacturer?

Ok i googled...Yup aero India was Lucky...C-17 was sent by USAF...Not sure about F-16

.
I will see the Globemaster this year again...
But i am going to see Rafale and Grippen...Both i never seen before...
Grippen i seen with a stick in its arse outside SAAB factory.....If you know what i mean..But never an operational aircraft...

These airshows are massive and too much on Display..
Last year at Farnborough (which is on the same model as Paris Airshow) me and my friend started at 10 in the morning and only stopped for 20 minuted all the way until 5 Pm when they started asking people to leave...and we only saw less than 50% of what was on display...

Both were sent by USAF. They also sent KC-135 and C-130Js (after Googling it). The US said they sent these planes to show solidarity with India instead of any overt military sales marketing as these products have either no chance of being sold to India (F-16 and KC-135) or have already been sold to India (C-17 and C-130J).

Don't see the point personally. Power projection?

Would be great to see in PAF colors:

Sadly sir, for the PAF, it is another case of:
