To wake from sleep paralysis just hold your breath. Your brain will catch up with what your body is doing soon enough....well works for me anyway.

I was staying in a airbnb house in Croatia in a room downstairs with my girlfriend. We were both awake at the time.

Its 2-3am, I hear a yawn upstairs and then footsteps down the stairs and the tv switches on loud. This was during euro 2020 so I can hear football, it was the highlights show.

I was thinking its probably my friend watching because he can't sleep but thought its rude for it to be so loud.

I go into the living room to tell him to keep it down and no one was there! The room was icy cold too.

And I know I'm not imagining any of this because my girlfriend verified the entire experience.

One time I read a new in newspaper, that Army has stop meddling in Pakistan's politics and will now just focus on securing borders, that event to this day gives shivers down my spine.

Sleep Paralysis.

Happens to me on a daily basis.

Terrifying experience when you start seeing and hearing things, but if you keep your eyes shut and keep your breathing regular, you'll go back to sleep and all will be well.

Yeah it happens to me too on daily basis

But now i have learned some tricks to break it

Try moving your feets and then legs

I always try to wake up because trying to sleep in this situation feels like dieing

A spiritual background helps. I have many good experiences like that but I think that such experiences in reality or dream version of them are too special to be narrated on the forum.

The following didn’t happen with me.

Special as in:
When you wake up at 2 am and you sit on prayer mat, for piety or out of divine love, and if you are lucky enough that a pious spiritual entity visits you as it enters the room from the locked door and stays throughout with you till fajr and can be seen by you and talks to you.
Says good bye at fajr to offer fajr prayer in medinah maybe and promises to visit you again the next night only if you wake up.
