I am not saying its an opinion.. The problem is..judges think tht its an opinion of Rehman Malik and no judgement can be given on this basis.. More than 1 judge said, including Justice Khosa...tht this report is an opinion of Rehman Malik with no legal value

No judge should be a thicko. Judgement are always given on the basis of reports, I mean where in the world prosecution builds up the case without a report from police or investigative agencies?

The judge's remark was in context of different types of courts, SC per se isn't a trial court. Judge thought that the facts could have been ascertained only after a trial where evidence are examined and recorded. That said reference to evidence still can be made, the courts accepts it or not it's a different thing.

I don't think he has had his chance yet. PTI lawyer, Naeem Bhukari ended his arguments today, and then Sheikh Rashid was given a chance. I think after SR, Jamaat-e-Islami will get their turn. After all of the petitioners are done then the defendant will get his chance. I'm no legal expert though.

These are BS details and intricacies of law..for us it is very simple and straight forward. Sufficient evidence is there to punish the culprits but IF THEY WANT. They have article 184-3 at their disposal that provides them with all the power they need to investigate and conduct the trial...again IF THEY WANT TO.

Remark of a judge doesn't necessarily annul legality of a document. The question that why nobody took action should be asked to government of Pakistan; means PPP, Musharaf and Sharifs. PPP remained mum because of its own corruption, Musharaf remained mum because he made a deal with Sharifs & why would someone on the God's green earth initiate legal proceedings against himself/herself?.

I read somewhere yesterday ..remarks of judges.. They said...tht why didnt anyone act on them? One judge remarked..tht its an opinion of RMalik.. Hum uski opinion par judgements kaisy dein? Nothing is proved in court... Rehman malik ne is par baad main act kiun nahi kiya? Blah blah blah... Rehman malik ka tu apna naam bhi shayad panama main hai

if I'm not wrong, FIA investigated Shareef family's money laundering on the order of courts in 90s, so the point that this report is a personal opinion of Rehman Malik is invalid & judges remarks should not be considered as judgement.

if I'm not wrong, FIA investigated Shareef family's money laundering on the order of courts in 90s, so the point that this report is a personal opinion of Rehman Malik is invalid & judges remarks should not be considered as judgement.

The same case was also investigated by NAB and Ishaq Dar gave an affidavit in 2000 under 164. Then Musharraf gave them first NRO and they left to Saudia. On their return, Judiciary and NAB gave them NRO.
