Cheema obviously knows more law than Justice Gulzar and Justice Khosa - or maybe he's eluding to the realities and doctrines of necessity type ones

It's a hard one for current bench to go in absolute favour of Nawaz; knowing two senior most and future CJP's stance and clearest of clear verdict.

They have to give all benefits of doubts (plausible and others) to give Nawaz a lifeline.

Supreme court will have to give crystal clear and time bound directions to ECP to disqualify. Let's see what these judges deliver in judgement. They can delay all they want but they will pay for it eventually.

As for judicial perspective, SC has disqualified many MNAs/MPAs for smaller issues so precedent is one thing to consider too.

I think...NS disqualification is confirm...and i think..it will be a direct disqualification, like Justice Khosa and Gulzar have done... Justice Ijazul ahsan had already said in his previous verdict tht SC has the power under 184/3 to disqualify.. He agrees with Justice Khosa's argument on jurisdiction of 184/3

Acha.. If judges decide, not to give short order and announce written detailed verdict, like last time..then i am afraid, it will again be a long wait..

Justice Ijazul Ahsan also writes detailed judgment like Justice Khosa.. J Ijazul Ahsan's verdict was the most detailed, more than 200 pages..based on limited material last time.. Nw theres a lot more material in JIT..and which has been contested by respondents.. Many issues will have to be discussed.. As many new evidences have come.....I am sure, woh dil ki bharaas bhi bhtt nikalein ge, verdict main.. I think it will be a long wait...because a lot will have to be typed again.... I doubt..it is possible tht it can be announced in a week or two weeks as most ppl are expecting

Most of Ijazul Ahsan's verdict consisted of arguments the lawyers made.

a) Moved more then 10,000 USD from Pakistan without authorization
b) Have extensive property distributed between his family which was not declared before election
c) Multiple Failed energy projects under Nawaz Sharif's term costing National budget losses. Projects declared finished , delayed 2 years after failed status after launch. Projects deemed over budget by 100% like solar power plant , being sold to internal connections at 25%-50% asking price.
d) Forged documents presented in Supreme Court (Big one)
e) A Qatari prince's letter which was not backed up by official Qatar Government letter or confirmation
g) No money trail of money from international locations
h) Lieing to parliment about not having international companies under family member's names
i) Lieing about not being "Marketing manager in UAE" firm
j) Incorrect Taxation filing in Pakistan not declaring foreign source of income and gifts


Also has anyone asked Prime Minister what happened to the Billion Dollars he got as Gift from Saudi Arabia at start of his term ?

Wondering how much of that $$ went overseas to help Babloo's Steel mill overseas

A cricket player if he is spotted with questionable person is banned for life or 6 years from cricket just for basis of a video tape , and here we have whole family stealing and setting up offshore companies for money laundering and there is confusion about case
