No.. Justice Khosa and Gulzar couldnt refuse... They only signed on order of the court..which was majority verdict..tht is by 3 judges.. Justice Khosa and Gulzar ka role sirf itna tha..ke woh numbers main count hojayein..

28th July ko jab Justice Khosa ne announce karna shuru kiya tha.. He said 2 of us had already given our final verdict on 20th april... 3 had dferrred the decision.. S i give the mike back to Ejaz Afzal.. Later Justice Khosa had only read the order of the court..aur unhon ne order of the court par hi sign kiye hain..which became cour order..due to it being in majority.. Justice Khosa aur Gulzar ka aur koi role nahi tha.. Unko sirf 5 member bench ko poora karna tha aur court order par sign karna tha.. Woh apnay previous verdict main kuch add ya subtract nahi karsaktay thay .. Na hi 3 judges ki verdict main interfere karsaktay thay.. S rf 5 member bench ko poora karna tha..numbers ki wajah se.. Ke unki verdict count ho.. Ayar dissent hota, 3 judges main..tab Justice Khosa aur Gulzar ki verdict important hoti aur count hoti.. Lekin kiun ke judges main dissent nahi tha..tu un 3 judges ki verdict hi court order ban gayi kiun ke woh majority main thee.. And Justice Khosa and Gulzar only signed on the court order @PakSword

It can be assumed that they chose a point of legal consensus and delivered their verdict. Leaving the rest of the proceedings on references to the monitoring judges to oversee. Not every judgement or Judge is as detailed as Justice Khosa.

It can be assumed that they chose a point of legal consensus and delivered their verdict. Leaving the rest of the proceedings on references to the monitoring judges to oversee. Not every judgement or Judge is as detailed as Justice Khosa.

That is what I am saying.. point of consensus was only one.. that stupid point has given NS a chance of mudslinging on Supreme Court.

Heard Khosa news was false?

Two possibilities.
Either it was leaked to see the reaction through media after not being able to decide to go ahead or not.

Or

It was leaked by someone patriotic (most probably a lawyer or office hand)in the loop to prevent it's negative effects on the whole system.

Watching Talat Ghalat Malat last night's "Naya Pakistan on Geo" specially the last 15 mins or so of anguish from Nawaz sympathisers, it is strongly possible that the second guess is more likely.

Also note that all those who praised Judicial Activism against Geelani and PPP were crying on IK supporting the Judiciary. Lol.

Talat Hussain has stooped so low like Saleem Safi due to their animosity against IK. All the Geo stooges want a legal framework to prevent people from showing support to judiciary. WOW! the nerve of these stooges.

I agree with your frustration but reading the interim order of Justice Ejaz Afzal, it becomes clear that he wanted things to go to trail court. Imagine if there was no DQ and cases going to NAB courts then it would have been hopeless. The problem was that two other judges sided with him too. But JIT turned the tables.

I agree that at least submitting Fake Documents warranted a punishment but again we will see the whole lengthy process of trial court, appeal in High Court, then appeal in Supreme Court. This is my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong.
