Gulalai's stint proved the predictable strategy of PMLN.

You are right that since they haven't found anything on honourable Justice Khosa, so the attempt at a reference.

But Ahmad Noorani and co must be working day and night to unearth any dirt or make it up in due course.

The failure to find any dirt or prepare a better scandal story than Gulalai at this point in time required something to be done to keep any amount of negative focus on the ones in PMLN cross hair, so the desperate "shurly" of the leaked reference we see in the news to create some pressure and it back fires as expected.

But the strategy of PMLN right from the start is to buy more time to manipulate the system in its favour, simply because there is no legal defence of assets spread all over the world worth billions.

You are right...I am soo proud of Justice Khosa..against whom, they couldnt find a single controversial point, from his entire career..on the basis of which they could file a refrence.. Musharraf filed reference against Iftikhar Ch for misusing his powers, and related to his son... Later Malik Riaz lso told abt Arsalan Iftikhar.. But despite their best efforts ..they couldnt find anything against Justice Khosa or his family and they had to rely on certain remarks or paragraphs from panama judgment and then even backed off from tht too...

Once monitoring judge starts its proceedings...Sharif family will find no place to hide..but for some strange reason..tht is being delayed

NAB is playing look busy do nothing as long as possible and so the delays, it's a technicality and they will use every technicality in their favour.

They gave NAB six weeks to file references, so it may very well be after that, may be in mid September but the strategy of Chairman NAB is another story, if they can find technicality against reopening Hydaibya case then these are new references to be filed, even if the cases start after six weeks, the content of references can be anybody's guess.

i would like.....tht when Justice Ijazul Ahsan starts monitoring proceedings..he says tht six weeks time for filing references starts from NOW....and he selects NAB officers himself.. Other than this..i dont think..theres any other option now.. Bcause 3 weeks hv already passed... NAB chairman has selected his own fav officers, who will use every trick to save sharif family..... To counter this, only option is tht 6 weeks time starts from the day monitoring proceedings start and the process starts from scratch under supervision of Justce Ijazul Ahsan.. 3 weeks will be wasted..in this..but tht will be worth it... Atleast then, we will have solid references being filed.. Otherwise if it is....as per original 6 weeks time...then 3 weeks hv passed, in which NAB has done nothing.... Even if Justice Ijazul ahsan changes officers then..new officers will have very less time to finish the task.. So its better tht Justice Ijazul Ahsan says tht just like..JIT's time period started when monitoring bench started working..now time for NAB will also start from when monitoring judge started its proceedings..

PMLN camp is split in two clear divides and if things persist in a certain way - I can guarantee based on info/discussions that there could be a forward block/splinter group headed by we all know whom

One group is saying no to filing review as it will be acceptance of part conviction and PMLN will feel politically defeated by PTI and with other issues lingering including load shedding and possible agitation will serve as severe blow to PMLN as a whole.

Second group is primarily family of Sharifs (and those who are not favourites of leader of the first group) who are saying some thing to this effect; that is like "save our skin first, we can do damage control to our politics later" hence the above spin to construct a masoomana case that even though we submitted proofs but lawyers failed us. These are the fabricated proofs that I had mentioned earlier in which Asad Umer's brother (Muneer Kamal) is kingpin.

However, both of the options are not easy for neither PMLN nor for Sharifs.

@PakSword bro - We discussed this (highlighted above in red) on April 25th, 2017 and after 4 months the scenario is pretty much the same and anti status quo group of ours can be some what assured that with each passing day the situation is even more enjoyable

Someone has done a hat-trick of self destruction and this time he not self immolate himself but took his entire pack with himself -done forever, now only hope of their is to save whatever they can; but it won't be much- Guaranteed!

Ek aur khushkhabri sunn lein.. Next week..Justice Ijazul ahsan will be hearing cases in lahore registry of SC, from Tuesday...as per SC cause list.... So it seems, no chance of monitoring proceedings next week either.. Waah waah !!!! @PakSword @Realistic Change
