I dont think, SC will become active before 21st August... I think SC will become active only, when J Ijazul Ahsan returns..then monitoring proceedings will start

J Ijazul Ahsan is abroad..we know for sure, tht he will return by 21st, because tht geo case was fixed for 21st august by panama case implementation bench..so he will return by tht time... But for some strange /unknown reason...it seems thht Justice Ejaz Afzal has refused to conduct monitoring proceedings in Ijazul Ahsan's absence..OR maybe..he is abroad too? By then, why did CJ appoint J Ejaz Afzal as monitoring judge, in Ijazul Ahsan's absence?

NS can not come back to power ever now.. Not even after any ammendment.. He is disqualified for life.. His only chance is to go for review..but i dont think theres any chance of decision getting reversed in review too..

Plus..i dont think there will be any success in trying to divide the judiciary...Its not the same judiciary as tht of 1997.. Plus after his recent diatribe against the judiciary..no judge of SC will sympathise with him.. He even turned very sympathetic Justice Ejaz Afzal, who never gave a single remark against NS in his inistial verdict, against himself, who eventually disqualified him too.. We never thought tht Justice Ejaz Afzal would ever disqualify NS..but thanks to NS antics, and threats to the judiciary....he has turned everyone against him...i doubt any judge of SC will side with NS..esp after his speeches of these 3-4 days... I think now, we have honest judges in SC...

Hain?? Kal tak tu aap bhtt optimistic thay...aaj kia hogaya? Mujhe politicians se nahi..judiciary se umeed hai.. Is ne apni harkaton se poori judiciary ko apnay against kar liya hai/hoga..esp is ne last 3-4 days main judges ke khilaf itna bola hai...is se saaray judges iske against hogaye honge.. Jab Justice Ejaz Afzal jaisy judge isay disqualify karsaktay hain..tu baqi bhi against hogaye honge.. Hum tu end tak 4-1 disqualification samajh rahay thay lekin 5-0 hui.. I am sure is ne last 3-4 days main judiciary ko poori tarah apnay against kar liya hai.. So..no possibility of division between judges like 1997

Plea filed in top court seeking ban on airing Nawaz's speeches

A petition was filed in the Supreme Court on Saturday seeking a ban on TV channels airing ousted PM Nawaz Sharif’s speeches and also contempt proceedings against him for his “anti-judiciary” remarks.

In his petition filed in the apex court’s Lahore registry, citizen Mehmood Akhtar submitted that the former PM had been continuously insisting that there was a conspiracy behind the verdict that disqualified him.

Therefore, he added, Sharif was accusing the top court’s judges of involvement in a conspiracy to oust him.

The petitioner prayed to the court that as Sharif’s speeches were tantamount to contempt of court and sedition, they should be banned from being aired on TV and action should be taken against him.

Last month, the apex court had unanimously disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif due to his failure to disclose his ‘un-withdrawn receivables, constituting assets’ in his nomination papers filed ahead of the 2013 general elections.

The court also ordered NAB to file the references within six weeks before the accountability court of Rawalpindi-Islamabad on the basis of the material collected and referred to by the Joint Investigating Team that probed into Sharif’s offshore assets as revealed in April last year by Panama Papers.

A defiant Sharif, during his ‘homecoming’ rally from Islamabad to Lahore via GT Road, criticised the judiciary for forcing him to quit as prime minister, saying it was an ‘insult’ to 200 million people of Pakistan that their elected leader was unceremoniously ousted with a single stroke of pen.

Yes he was thinking of venezvela plan but this was to be announced today but looking at the gathering in last four days if he do such a thing then he will destroy PMLN and whole Sharif family ... people are not supporting him and after listening to his views its simply going towards treason ... even PMLN prmominent leaders are not supprting this ... ahsan iqbal, khawja asif are on back foot ... i think changes in constitution are nor possible in that case we will move towards marshal law ..
