Pakistan's silent partition

Indians and Pakistanis 're also very liberal when outside their country

You and many others probably have seen Pakistan with the eyes of media. All major cities in Pakistan are far more liberal and advance in their lifestyle and life itself. When I visit Pakistan I always feel we are backwards in UK as youth in Pakistan is so vibrant and talented that Pakistanis in UK don't come close to them and I take full responsibility for what I am saying. Same goes for "educated" Indians who come from India. This brain drain is also a major cause of increasing terrorism in Pakistan or increasing Hinduism in India.

Nah majority (irrespective of religion in Sub Continent) are conservative when it concerns his family matters, but very liberal when it's outside his family circle.
Whats the point in being liberal if it doesn't concern me. But anyways its relative. Girls in my village go to college or movies wearing burqa and their parents claim that they are so liberal to send their daughters to college and take them to movies. But when I deny my daughter a late night party with her friends I am very conservative.

Prove it .........
An Islamic state needs to be Governed by Shariah.

Does Shariah give equal property rights between men and women? No
Does Shariah allow a non-Muslim to become Head-of-State? No
Does Shariah allow a non-Muslim to lead/become a CoAS of an Islamic Army? No
Does Shariah allow non-Muslims to not just practice but propagate their religion like the Muslims can? No

If the answer to even a single one of them is No, then the State cannot legally have equality for all its citizens.

That is why non-Muslims were living without any problem in both South Asia and Ottomon Empire.
Is that what your history books teach you? That non-Muslims were living without any problem in South Asia under Mughal rule?

6 surprises that greet a Pakistani in India - Blogs - DAWN.COM

The most startling difference you come across as soon as you enter India from Pakistan – women in public space.

They are everywhere, riding two wheelers, in buses and trains commuting independently and running businesses big and small, including roadside tea stalls and shops.

They come from all cultures and communities. I saw young girls cycling back home from school in a Ludhiana village. I saw two black burqa-clad women riding a scooty in Hyderabad. The most amusing, however, was to witness a grey choti (braid) dangling from behind a helmet as an old lady sped past me in Bangalore.

With cities teeming with people and roads perennially clogged, the swift motorcycle is the vehicle of choice for millions, just as it is in Pakistan. But it is not a taboo for women to ride a bike in India.

:hitwall:

This is what happens when you do a selective study of religion. You choose arguments out of context and try to prove your point.

Counter questions

What does shariah say about forfeiting property of its rightful owner and orphans?

Where is it mentioned that Shariah is for states or countries on individual basis? How does Shariah look at Muslims? Is it country wise or as collective group?

For Shariah to decide a COAS of an Islamic Army first we need to have an Islamic army, I wish there was one but presently there is none. However, when you say an Islamic army it means based on Muslims totally so why a purely Muslim based army would be headed by a non Muslim COAS? Where is logic in that?

Where in the world is Shariah currently being practiced and implemented in it's true essence? Saudi no..... Iran No...... Pakistan no..... Afghanistan no........ So why would someone bring question about rights of minorities under Shariah when in practice its non existent in any area of the world?

On another note In my young age I was taught by a Moulvi Sb. to respect minorities and their beliefs and stay out of their matters.

I knew this part.:)

This brain drain is also a major cause of increasing terrorism in Pakistan or increasing Hinduism in India.
I dont agree to the bold part.
Brain drain is not the reason why the hindutva feeling among hindus has increased. I do not support any hindu organisation which indulges in extremism but I support the rise of hinduism in India.
Hindus have always been liberal. They've been tolerant and respectful towards other religions but you must trust me when I tell you that even though hindus were a majority in India, hindus had the complex of a minority. We were suppressed!!!
In the name of religious freedom other minorities were given excessive power while the hindu was fooled into believing that it was being done to maintain secularist soul of the country. Have no doubt that the populace of India is secular.
We 're very secular not because Nehru or Gandhi were secular but because its instilled in us through our religion. To me hinduism is not my religion but my way of living. And every hindu I know would vouch for what I said.
We demand our righteous position...just that.
Rise of hindus in India would bring stability to my country is what I strongly feel!!!
