Pakistan has rapidly fallen from the ranks of global powers since the war on terror of 2000's. Even though the country held Democratic elections(as fair as it is in South Asia) this year, things have been going downhill since the breaking of 2010's. People will debate for hours and hours over this matter, but nobody has the guts to point out at the real problem; religious influence.
First, I would like to acknowledge that I am a Muslim, and by all means a patriot.
While people in the west confuse him with Gandhi, Jinnah is equally important for the Indian freedom movement. Jinnah is mostly forgotten, even though he created a different country, and a whole new meaning of freedom itself. India was always there, but he created a different nation, an alternative form of India.
The most important thing in the ruling of a country is to NOT combine religious laws with country laws. Sure, there would be a few limited-minded people who will say "but pakistan is a islam country", that is untrue.
Religion is what a single man thinks of the world. A single man. And he has every right to change his mind, so religion should not be made the first priority when talking about a group of people. There is a law which says that if someone goes against Islam he would be killed, and that is barbarous.
People share different thoughts, so violence is not necessary. A country is where people live, not where religions live. We shouldn't care if they are hindus or chiristians, in fact which shouldn't even discuss religion. If a man think he is a real believer, than he should shut up and follow his faith, and let the non-believers burn in hell.
Second thing is, we should get a little less stupid. Youtube is banned in Pakistan, which is a shame. And the worst thing is because of this extremist behavior nobody wants to relate with us and we can't trade in the world market respectably, with the westerns making fun of us. We banned Pokemon because they looked like David's star, and thus was a "Jewish Conspiracy" even though they were made in Japan. Such a Shame.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah is what we need to be. Don't put religion before Pakistan, unless everyone in the world become Muslim
