Pakistan's Real Problem [A Must Read]

no not really mate, if we lost Bangladesh in 1971 you lost Aksai chin in 1962 yes while we lost 55,000 sq mi, you lost 14,000 sq mi

you lost a war & lost territory but it doesn't negate the idea of India, like wise, we also lost a war & lost territory, fair & square doesn't negate the idea of Pakistan either

anyways mate to each his own

Small Technical correction. Aksai Chin was not a part of India on 15th Aug 1947.

.
Well, it was since 1948. Let us not be in denial. Denial is the work of the weak. We lost it in 62. But this topic deals with Pakistan's real problem. What do you think is the real problem? :)
Small Technical correction. Aksai Chin was not a part of India on 15th Aug 1947.

Ahhhh you didn't find any Pakistan bashing material. So cute.

On Topic: Bro you are totally wrong. Pakistan is fighting against the Terrorists although it was not our war but our genius guys sitting in Parliament made it ours So now we are paying a heavy price and will keep paying if we will not remove ourself from this mess. So due to this Investments are not coming and due to lack of investments there are not much jobs so youth will get angry and Terrorists feed upon this anger and recruit these guys.

And this cycle continues

Wrong, you cant say its not your war now....you should have said that earlier when you with the help of the Americans were funding and helping Taliban and Al-Qaeda to fights the Soviets in Afghanistan it was not yours war then...you help them in the making so you cant get away with the finishing..

On topic- Pakistan and India fought together for the Independence but when they were getting what they were demanding they decided to took it separately...and you shouldn't be worried now after all you get what you wanted.....a separate Muslims state for the Muslims of British India an Islamic Republic of Pakistan

We lost land. You lost people. I hope Islam will not bar you from understanding the basic difference.

Would you agree that Netaji did more than anybody else for our independence?

Yes, he did. The Bombay Mutiny which was the biggest catalyst for the independence of India was a direct result of the INA trials.

This is hardly Pakistani discussion on this topics, many Indians along with Bengali Canadian here took this opportunity to express their one-side opinions only.

Pakistan has rapidly fallen from the ranks of global powers since the war on terror of 2000's. Even though the country held Democratic elections(as fair as it is in South Asia) this year, things have been going downhill since the breaking of 2010's. People will debate for hours and hours over this matter, but nobody has the guts to point out at the real problem; religious influence.

First, I would like to acknowledge that I am a Muslim, and by all means a patriot.

While people in the west confuse him with Gandhi, Jinnah is equally important for the Indian freedom movement. Jinnah is mostly forgotten, even though he created a different country, and a whole new meaning of freedom itself. India was always there, but he created a different nation, an alternative form of India.

The most important thing in the ruling of a country is to NOT combine religious laws with country laws. Sure, there would be a few limited-minded people who will say "but pakistan is a islam country", that is untrue.

Religion is what a single man thinks of the world. A single man. And he has every right to change his mind, so religion should not be made the first priority when talking about a group of people. There is a law which says that if someone goes against Islam he would be killed, and that is barbarous.

People share different thoughts, so violence is not necessary. A country is where people live, not where religions live. We shouldn't care if they are hindus or chiristians, in fact which shouldn't even discuss religion. If a man think he is a real believer, than he should shut up and follow his faith, and let the non-believers burn in hell.

Second thing is, we should get a little less stupid. Youtube is banned in Pakistan, which is a shame. And the worst thing is because of this extremist behavior nobody wants to relate with us and we can't trade in the world market respectably, with the westerns making fun of us. We banned Pokemon because they looked like David's star, and thus was a "Jewish Conspiracy" even though they were made in Japan. Such a Shame.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah is what we need to be. Don't put religion before Pakistan, unless everyone in the world become Muslim

:pakistan:

All your points are valid. So what is the cause of the debate?

Actually one week you went to became fully Canadian, other next week you change mind to love Pakistan and suddenly prefer India due to some reasons and goes back to same cycle. A confused Bengali goes FOB into different countries more than just fresh off the boat to pure Canadian land........There is not point discussing here on the topics.

@Ussaid , no offence but you should have used dozens of other threads on similar topic to give your opinion. It is not a must read, but I congratulate you for writing it yourself.

if you are referring to before partition then yes, but if you are referring to after partition then no, its not true Pakistan @ that time had nearly 70 million muslims out of the total 100 million muslims of the Indo-Pak subcontinent , 30 million in west Pakistan & 40 million in east Pakistan even today the areas which separated from India ( remember there were not one but two areas which separated from India in 1947) (present day Pakistan & Bangladesh has more muslim population in them as compare to India) 320 million out of the 510 million resides in present day Pakistan (near 200 million) & Bangladesh (120 million) as compare to the 190 to 200 million in India

i think he was referring to only west pakistan.india had about 33 million muslims as compared to about 30 of west pakistan and 35 of east pakistan.u guys overtook our muslim population in the 1990's..

What are the Taliban? People who think they are fighting for religion! In the end war always takes roots from religion, and to be fair people take religion very seriously. If I am not wrong, I hear regular reports of Hindu raids of Muslims in India.

The "molves" of our culture are brainwashing people to pick fights with westerners because of religion. The entire non-chiristian population of Jerusalem was wiped out 1000 years ago because of religion. And this hatred is particular stranger when one thinks his country has everything to do with Islam, thus he could attack the other community without caring for the consequences of his actions. The west gained power 100 years ago when they left the ideas of religion difference behind, and we need to do the same.

What we don't want to accept is how emotional we Muslims are! Violence is never necessary, unless you are punched on the
nose.

East Pakistan separated because of a simple argue, which city would be the capital.

This is an extreme oversimplification. East Pakistan did not secede because of an argument over the capital. It seceded because even though Mujib won the elections fair and square and would have been PM of whole of Pakistan - Bhutto got the West Pak establishment to impose military rule. And that victory too was a result of some genuine apathy toward Bengali culture, forcing of Urdu, an unequal distribution of foreign aid and lack of help during the devastating cyclone of the 1970.

Hindu raids of Muslims in India? LOL - Hardly.
