Pakistan's Loss: A Disaster or a Blessing

Once you work in the corporate world like me one understands the real IQ of politicians, media person and showbiz people so to sum it up he is no more idiot than any other politician and no one in his right mind takes him very seriously particularly about economy and with the exception of foreign relations.

When you look at the report each research house take into account different variables and add their own version of Qualitative data in it, if you look at IMF forecast (prediction in finance is only used by idiots we are not jyotshis we finance people never use such words), if you look at world bank report it would be different, one by HSBC would be different so would be by ADB and various other research reports. If you want to have a meaningful dialogue we can continue but by now you should have realized if you want to engage in insult then my command over English and 6 other languages is pretty good.

While progress in the GDP of Bangladesh is good, one thing financial analysts like me always factor in when dealing with third world countries (read developing countries) like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka is political stability and law and order, any major shift in both the whole projection goes south.

Regardless of what anyone says or does, bangladesh's economy or other factors can NEVER have an effect on or impact us. They are TOO far away from Pakistan and we don't have anything in common with them. Truth is, countries bordering us like Iran, China and to some extent Afghanistan have a greater effect on Pakistan then anyone else does. Whether we like it or not.

Everyone is an idiot or joker and you are most intelligent person when they say something and back it up with facts and figures?

Just remaining in past and delusion I do not see anything among some of the Pakistani posters like you.

Do you think only war on terror is responsible for this condition of Pakistan today? Low export, low literacy rate, high unemployment rate, low female participation in work force, lower participation at school, poor financial planning, not having proper policy planning, resource mismanagement, lack of vision for future etc. has nothing to do with Pakistan?

You Pakistani lot are more on talking than doing something in reality.

Finally you are telling me once I work in the corporate world? I already worked with some of the Fortune 500 companies and now I am working for BIG 4 though I am not direct employee. I do not know whether you really know what BIG 4 really is. However this is not something I should brag here in the online forum.

Come back to reality. Before making forecast I believe you should know that they takes past trend and present condition into account. Bangladesh will overtake Pakistan was predicted 4-5 years ago and you lot were in denial. Now you are still in denial on other prediction when Bangladesh has already overtaken nominal GDP wise.

By the way everyone knows about political stability and law and order situation plays role in economic forecast. You are not adding anything here.

Anything can happen between now and 2033. Let bangladesh first become a major world economic power before you pop the champagne bottle and start celebrating................if and when that does happen, it won't affect Pakistan whatsoever as you are TOO far away from us to have any impact on Pakistan.......regardless of what ANY news channel says or does..... Turkey is probably a similar distance from us as is bangladesh. We also have a very close relationship with them too. They are practically a developed nation with an economy comparable to European standards. Yet, their economic success and prowess has little bearing on Pakistan due to their distance from us. For good or bad, bangladeshi's economic success will only affect india and Myanmar/Burma. No one else. Fact is, the ONLY country's economic prowess that affects Pakistan is China. No one else.

Pakistan is NOT a regional country with bangladesh. We do not even share a border with them and they are around 2000 kms away from Pakistan. Our regional countries are those nations bordering us who we have a relationship with, namely Iran, Afghanistan and China. We can't ignore them.

Being part of the same federation means nothing. Pakistan, india, bangladesh and Burma were once a part of the British Raj/Empire. It does not mean we have anything in common with one another or with the English.

Its called correlation, Pakistan and Bangladesh economy have no correlation unlike Pakistan-India, Pakistan-China, or China-India for that matter.

I have nothing further to argue with an idiot who hasn't worked directly with a corporate company, doesn't know the difference between forecast and prediction, whose babbling has all been about bragging and yet no brag.

Not just the WOT but the 8 year Iran/Iraq War and the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980s had a profoundly devastating effect on Pakistan. It's when terrorism and sectarianism began. We have JUST started recovering now after nearly 40 years of turmoil.

It affects on foreign policy of other countries as your economy goes down on regional level so your importance as well, Bangladesh’s rise of export always directly or indirectly affect Pakistan, it’s ability to mobilize global opinion on Kashmir issue as countries pay less attention to irrelevant or low influential countries and the list can go on and on kid.

Bangladesh is one of the few countries in the world with which Pakistan is comparable due to almost same living standard and same population size. Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt and Nigeria can be some other countries but simply Pakistan is no more on the same league and comes at the bottom.

You made money out of Soviet Afghan war being a puppet of USA.

It will not. You are TOO far away from us for that to ever happen. We DON'T even share a border with you let alone are in the same region. Even america and China struggle to have a say in Kashmir. Unless bangladesh becomes more bigger and powerful than America, China and Russia combined, the above can never happen.

Truth is, Pakistan's economic and regional future lies with China, Turkey and possibly Iran. Hence CPEC and the revival of the Turkey-Iran-Pakistan rail link:

Do you know the difference between direct employee and getting hired by third company to fill position of BIG 4? You seems to be a far bigger idiot who does not know the difference where contractors or vendors works directly with Big 4 or other corporates at their own office holding title, position and email of that company.

What kind of financial analyst you are of some unknown company I can make a guess out of it.

No we didn't. We were paid peanuts by the americans/UN to look after 15 million Afghans who to this day refuse to go home.

We are not discussing about where Pakistan economic future lies but where it’s present position is. How much influence it has regionally and globally, falling behind in gdp ranking how it affect Pakistan’s position and so on.

Every watched "Congo" the movie I suggest you do trying to teach primates is easier than trying to get something to the thick head and limited grey matter of bengalis. Not that they look much different though and have different number of chromosomes.

interaction with your kind does seem to have an IQ limiting effect on people like me. I do however still maintain a ranking in contact sport let just say when I am in UK next time can we meet in a dojo of your choice MMA/muay thai of course?

By the way I have noticed you are from a below par third world city of a third world country Pakistan. So not even worth my time and not even in 1000 mile radius of my league.

So please soohhhh!!!

It depends what you define as Pakistan's region. If it means our bordering countries of Iran, China and Afghanistan then YES, our importance has gone up considerably in the last 10 years. Which is why China invested in at least $65 billion in Pakistan via CPEC with many more billions earmarked for further investment in the coming years and decades. Imran Khan's trip to Iran is indicative of Iran wanting to improve relations with Pakistan to secure their Eastern border and ease the pressure of their rivalry with Saudi Arabia. afghanistan has long relied on Pakistan for their survival. This will only increase as the americans begin to leave and Pakistani influence there begins to dominate once again. As our military become more powerful the above will only increase. Our economic figures won't change any of this.

I have North American passport. I can travel any country any time. A random guy from Rawalpindi lol doesn’t worth my time. You are simply not on my league.
