This is sad indeed. I wonder if this shows the reluctance of the GOP to help its own people on religious grounds or the reluctance of these pakistani citizens to move back to pakistan (even after living for years in India)!! If that's the case, it is highly deplorable. I hope the govt. of India allows them citizenship.

Here's the problem. Sure, I can understand the problems in NWFP. But there's other areas in Pakistan where they won't face problems, such as Punjab and Karachi. They can move there if they want. All of Pakistan isn't in Peshawar or Tribal areas.

The murders in the last week or two were not by Taliban but by kidnappers who do so to muslim people as well. Regardless, making a big deal about this is pointless who problem faced by Taliban is pointless. Taliban is against anyone who doesn't want their type of laws. They kill muslims far more often, yet there's not the same deal about that. Moreover, you can't pinpoint which Taliban want to target sikhs and do after them. You go after them collectively. Helping these sikh would mean they should help everyone else who is there, since Taliban aren't targetting sikhs more often than they target muslims.

I hope India gives them political refuge too. I met quite a Hindus of Pakistani origin in the Jaisalmer area who had been granted refuge or were waiting for their papers to come through.

Well, you may all well aware by what happened after 3 "Sardar Jee" (Sikhs) were killed in Peshawar, Pakistan?

What kind of South Asia`s huge Media like Indian Media did its bad & negative roll against Pakistan as usual. . . .

Even Indian knew that they were Pakistani Sikhs and they also know that almost every day many Innocent people died in Pakistan because of Bomb Blasts, Suicide Attacks & US Drone Attacks (Drone Attacks target few terrorist more civilian) but Indian Media did their best to make noise against Pakistan and force Sikh people to go war against Pakistani`s & against Pakistan

If we can help and donate billions of US$ all around the world from Asia to Africa we can very well take care of few helpless refugees.

And if u seriously want to know how we treat our refugees the visit New Delhi in New Delhi the post posh areas had allotted by the Government of India to refugees from Pakistan.

The Connaught Place, Lajpat Nagar, Patel Nagar, South Ex. etc. are full of them and mind it these are the centrally located most developed and posh areas.

Moreover, that' not ur problem u should we worried about state of minorities

Why r u keep on posting off topic.

1. Sikh have desired and seeking refuge in India not GoI is inviting them.

2. This shows faith of Pakistani Sikhs in India rather than pakistan.

3. As for grievance of Sikhs it is internal matter and not the topic of this thread.

4. India already have a current Sikh PM and he is more than capable to take care of all of India including Sikhs.

Its a damn shame that these people are acting like this, when the GoP has allocated money to renovate and develop sikh areas in Pak. Similarly they changed the name of a district to better suit the Sikhs as it was the birthplace of Guru Nanak. Pakistan passed Anand Karaj act to ensure proper marriage for sikhs WHICH DOES NOT HAPPEN IN INDIA. They are also constructing a world class education center called Baba Guru Nanak University and this is how they act.

The indian media truly used this to their advantage. Our media needs to highlight the plight of lower castes, the rural urchins, the maoists groups and the violence suffered by minorities. Next time muslims get attacked or any other group, pak media should blow it out of proportion and help them.

Also Connaught Place, Lajpat Nagar, Patel Nagar, South Ex are areas that I have visited in the last two years and they do not hold a candle to posh areas in Karachi and Lahore.

geez then i think all the Non-Indians should throng India to live in Indian POSH cities.


But my simple question is why India doesnt give sheltter in POSH cities to its own citizens who are forces to sleep and killed by drunk drivers on foothpaths??????/
