Pakistani SEALs the new fighting force to counter Terrorism.

So SSG SSGN SSW are not capable to deal with Terrorist right? So do not tel them elite forces from now onward.

What is the guarantee that the seal would be able to deal with terrorists and won't fail like other so called Elite Forces?

If the Brits SO19 and anti terrorism command, does it mean SAS can't handle terrorists or are bt special forces? If the US have jTAC and Intel Fusion Centers, does it mean that seals are not SF? Use your brain beta.

Bad move...... we have this nasty habit of doing everything over instead of using the resources already present. This proposal of yours will create redundant sub-cells.... there is nothing wrong with our "information gathering" techniques... we need various different "brute-force-enforcer" units.... answerable to just one person (secretary interior).... remove the oversight of IG's/Commissioners and give them a free hand when certain threat level is breached....

Equip these "action" units with top of the line armaments.... secure their identities..... give them a 5 fold pay hike........ and don't let the f****g military interfere in their affairs.....

Make something on the lines of FBI (who picks it's data from ISI/IB/MI) and then reacts like SWAT.....

What you propose will not work.... it will be more like a further drain on resources, where more (in numbers) people will be hired, won't be trained properly, and will be equipped with the same ****....


My proposal:

100 maximum squad per city.... 200 in major cities....
Their own armored convoy...
One or two MH6 Little Birds per unit
ABP's/Specialized guided breachers
Gatling mounted armored jeeps...
............. loads of stuff I can recommend..... maximum fixed cost: USD25M / unit.

But this force will have teeth..... will be able to break the jaw of anything that comes their way..

What you don't need is, thin, smelly, daal eating force armed with an AK and no kevlar!

We are talking about a speacialized force here, more like a CT Command and not unit bro, they will have dedicated intelligence department, and resources of its own, with federal powers.
Elite force can act like TST(Tactical Support Team)

Who said we failed to counter terrorists with SSG? Whenever they got deployed they completed their mission, apart from few cases where those brave men were actually meant to die at the hands of terrorists, one case would be of tirah valley.
Apart from that SSG did the biggest helo borne operation in Peochar valley.
Correct your facts dear their is difference between ssg and regualr infantry

Because you are derailing the thread dear.
We dont have soo many departments for CT, please do some research first and than ask the question. For civil control we only have TWO, Elite Police, which is provincial force, and FIA, which provides investigative support,

And is this not what i said sir? The problem with ISI is they dont share there data with anyone, that i can confirm, IB will have to work hard, it is filled with incompetent staff, we all know that. They are already under staffed and over the neck.

Thats why i am saying they should have their own FIUs like isi to gather first hand intelligence and dont have to rely on botched up intelligence. It will reduce the departmental rift.
Unless we want to have intelligence fusion network just like US, where dia, cia, dea, nsa, fbi share their intelligence, the force will not be effective and should have its own intel department.

Why are we recruiting the Seals as they are the same thing which in Pakistan Navy called SSG(N) means Special Services Group Navy. I just want to say that we need to increase the numbers of SSGs in all the three forces like:
7000 Navy
7000 Air Force
21000 Army

1. Give mandate to unit.
2. Start the unit.
3. Equip the unit.
4. The unit should have absolutely no relation to ANY other branch of military / police etc etc.
5. Protect the identity of the unit with ammendment into the constitution... (same has been done all over latin america)
6. Start thinking about expanding it's role in intelligence gathering...

Something like WitSec of US, with the powers of FBI + SWAT combined into one...

Btw, ISI + MI are both pieces of crap... they have their own agenda now..... they are a confused bunch who want to do everything..... the day intelligence agencies develop their own agendas, they need to be disbanded and culled. (at least the foot-soldiers need to be put down quietly: as they are a threat to society... it's a price they knew they had to pay one day for going rogue... so no reservations in doing it)

You should simply say HRT-FBI, because even fbi has state level swat teams, but HRT is whole different thing.
Somehwhat i agree with you, but atleast intel department should be on the mandate since day one,.
I would say ISI is not even co-operating with MI at some points, why i say that? A very close friend from mi was to get some data from abpara hq, first he simply got refused, go back son we dont share the data with anyone. So he had to ask his superiors back at mi to push the isi for data, it was after 3 days the poor soul was given access to the data and that too had to go through awful lot of trouble and procedure......thats why i am saying a big no to relying on isi....
