While the high middle class and elite studied in Beaconhouse, Froebels, City School, Army Public Schools etc, its the middle class and lower middle class which formed the bulk of the country, they were fascinated with madrassahs and deeni-taleem. To fight the war in Afghanistan, financing began from KSA, weapons provided by CIA and fighters joined from many muslim countries but primarily from Afghanistan and Pakistan. The extremist ideology helped fuel these fighter's minds to evict Soviets from Afghanistan in the name of Islam. The training made them religious zombies or zealots.

Those teachings of 1980's are what you see in 2000's and now in 2020's. Those kids have grown up and graduated from those madrassahs. They are teachers, scholars, imams, mullahs and molvis now.

Pakistan thought the problem was curbed in FATA and other KPK area. Far out ! The extremist ideology has spread into every nook and corner of Pakistan under the name of deeni-taleem in madrassahs and even Govt Schools. Who are the teachers teaching in Govt Schools ? Madrassah graduates, not average private school teachers. Back in the day there were 50-70 and sometimes 90 students in one class of Govt School. Parents in rural areas didn't say much against beatings by teachers in Govt schools. Spare the rod, spoil the child prevailed.

Government can take action against TLP, but how will the extremist ideology exit from people's minds ? The Sialkot video where two young men are admitting their violent actions, if they would have studied and even passed matric, it would be from some local Govt school or madrassah, where teachers like the one in Op's video exist and thrive and teach young minds.

Many years ago, I was in KPK and had access to Govt officials. I travelled in many parts of KPK, even FATA. I met a lot of people and when asked them why did your families marry within Tajiks, Uzbeks, Afghans etc as they are not locals and dont know culture. The reply was these are the truest form of muslims today, they fought non-muslims (Soviets) and became victorious. These are the same Tajiks, uzbeks etc who had created stronghold in Lal masjid. So a true muslim brandishes an AK-47, has long beard, fights non-muslims and has aggression as response to whatever life throws at him due to his extremist views ? These men were considered ideal muslims. Extremist ideology will always respond in aggression and force.

Islam in subcontinent spread through sufis like Khuwaja Ghareeb Nawaz RA who converted millions of hindus into muslims through his humble, man kind- loving ways.

Better immigration policies at least in Canada, relatively more open minded people (just avoid Southern states if going to US). Large Pakistani/Desi community so you don't feel homesick that much. Also, good job opportunities.

Last but not the least, no language barrier. Oh and lots of land so you can buy a house if you save enough. Good luck buying a house in EU, haha.

It took 4 decades to brainwash a generation to become such mindless beasts. It will take another 4 to get rid of this khawarijis mindset. What is true blasphemy is these people killing in the name of Prophet mohammad PBUH. These people need to be dealt with iron hands otherwise they will spread their poison.
