Pakistani parents give government three-day ultimatum to evacuate children from China

You're making it out to be nothing. These are news headlines everywhere.

"Pakistan refuses to evacuate its citizens while they plead..."

Absolutely fucking embarrassing. We have the facilities. Isolation wards, medicine, doctors, first class facilities in private institutes, testing kits, everything.

We just need to draft a plan with all the institutes on board, and execute it in waves. It's entirely a possibility.

Or you know what, just give the task to India, they offered it anyways, if that's the kind of low we want to reach!
Much of your post is correct. Pakistan has the facilities to isolate, quarantine and test and even treat.

The problem Pakistan has is IF there is an outbreak, it will be difficult to control and infections will spiral. This is the precise risk Pakistan cannot cope with.

Ncov doesn't kill as drastically as it spreads. Imagine the lockdown that would result from other nations if Pakistan suffered an epidemic. China has the financial reserves to weather such a storm. If Pakistan becomes an epidemic hub, everyone will stop coming to Pakistan and our nation will be crippled. It would be foolish now to yield to pressure from other nations who have only ill will towards us, only then to sustain an outbreak and watch these supposed "concerned" nations suddenly shutter their windows and block our phone calls.

Good lord! This is the worst advice. Trust and Chinese don't go in the same sentence. And "doctors". No No No! Just No!

Pakistan.

Honestly, Sri Lanka evacuated. Bangladesh Evacuated. They all are still alive and no wuhan seen in their countries.

On one side these people say Pakistan has massive potential for medical tourism, and on the other, suddenly our medical facilities are worse than African countries like Egypt.

There are so many IF in so many things, what IF this, what IF that. It's such a lame excuse when we have every capability to do it without risk.

Nuclear plants are also a big IF. You know Karachi plant right. What if ut blows up, what's next?

None of these are facts.

1. The isolated cases are isolated, there is no outbreak like you claimed.

2. Pakistan's medical system is better than these countries.

3. Pakistan can isolate, quarantine and treat, if done properly like EVERY OTHER COUNTRY did. This is a VERY IMPORTANT FACT.

4. Tell me, which country hasn't evacuated. You never gave me the list.

2. Cannot comment on this, I am skeptical.
3. Still, the risks of exposure are there. All countries that have done this have had this virus spread.
4. The only list you will find online is against countries that have initiated citizen recovery programs. This includes the US, UK, EU, Australia, NZ, India. There is no list that mentions countries that haven't evacuated citizens.

^ Don't you think they are in much more capable hands?

What flies in the face of any reason is that Pakistan is allowing flights from China but not getting her own citizens out.

This disease is spreading all over China now.

True, very few countries can handle nuclear tech. So if you can handle it, this virus shouldnt be a problem actually.

Guess now we can say "told ya so".
But seriously, people are dying left and right. Even famous and wealthy people are dying. Just bring them, isolate and treat them. You will also learn how to handle the virus and next time when such an emergency happens you guys will be well prepared. Or else this behaviour of leaving your citizens at mercy of another country will continue.

Hey guess what... F-16 wasn't downed on 27th Feb, instead you lost a Mig-21, SU-30MKI and a whole load of other stuff. I told ya so... and so did Christine Fair.

4. Because almost most have plans being executed or done it. Only Pakistan is making the headlines for literally refusing its citizens plead.

3. None had "spread," there was no outbreak. There's also a big IF for nuclear plants.

2. lol.

Also, news mentions what it mentions. Why don't you personally listen to what they're saying? We will see what the truth is.

Recent studies indicate false negative rate of pcr testing may be higher than previously thought for a number of reasons. Good luck when some patient is released from quarantine following a false negative result only to fall ill later after having spread the virus to vulnerable elderly community members. The student coming back from Wuhan will survive but the kids, Dada and Dadi he infected will die.

Pakistan should carry on as it is doing currently. Don't listen to ANY bullsth from our eastern neighbour.

Then Pakistan should immediately stop any flights from China.

How do you reconcile these two facts.

1. Chinese from China can fly into Pakistan.
2. Pakistan's own students cannot fly into Pakistan from Wuhan.

Meanwhile, the virus has spread in numbers all over China.

Nice try to act smart but virus has 14 days period where it is idle. So you don't even need a kit. Keep in isolation for 3 days, if person gets flu, and symptoms, keep the person isolated.

Do you think the world is stupid? Only our people and government are stupid. This isn't even about our eastern neighbor.

Our own fucking people are pleading!

They won't have answers for this.
