Umar Sayeed

Top picks: A glimmery gold statement sari, a peekaboo crop top coupled with palazzos and a long vest, a black foil-printed sari that you can dress up or down and THAT sparkly blazer

Just look at how the material glistens, we're floored!

The show started off with a bang with Umar Sayeed showcasing his aptly named collection 'Good as Gold'. Seriously though, some ensembles practically looked like fiery liquid gold on the runway!

Think we've got our wedding wear sorted for the upcoming shaadi season

Hot pinks coupled with delicate embellishments and gota accents on crisp cottons resulted in regal, timeless wedding wear. It's rare to covet nearly every piece in a collection but there we were, wanting just that straight after Mahira Khan walked the ramp as his showstopper. What a good note to kick off the show on!

Sania Maskatiya

Top picks: The cut-out top paired with a net gharara, the all-white number with a ruffly dupatta and so many statement pants!

Each ensemble was classier than the last

We thought we were over peplum, we thought we were over the cold-shoulder. Turns out, we just needed Sania Maskatiya to give 'em a little makeover.

After two bright collections, the designer's soft colour palette for 'Sahvar' was just what we needed to cool off the eyes.

It was shimmery summer couture at its finest, structured but fluid ensembles in silk and various nets in cream, gold and silver were paraded down the runway. The use of zardozi, sequins, resham and beads only elevated every ethereal outfit.

These pants on the right need to appear in our closets stat!

Fashion that goes from ramp to reality has our hearts and Sahvas was just that; it was opulent, dramatic but also very practical.

Misha Lakhani
Top picks: Everything!

Clean lines and minimal designs by Misha Lakhani were a hit

With Miraka, the Misha Lakhani label had promised to "provide steady opportunities to skilled artisan communities and to take heirloom traditions from the heart of Pakistani villages to the rest of the world.”

The result? A collection of flowy, wearable numbers in the form of polished, hand-woven separates, sheer fabrics coupled with dainty details and statement pants that screamed summer ready. These were pieces you know you'd go back to, time and time again for how effortless they looked. These were items that were simple yet anything but basic. These were outfits suited for a woman who marches to the beat of her own drum.

Proof that you don't need to overdesign to win over audiences

One thing's for sure, no one does casual chic quite like Misha. Speaking of casual chic though...

Chapter 2
Top picks:Again, everything especially these two outfits modelled by Saheefa Jabbar and Fouzia Aman, they're first on our list to splurge on!

Smart casuals ftw!

Chapter 2 is all about mixing form and functionality with individuality, where every design has an added focus of celebrating craft and their latest collection 'Urban Canvas' was no different.

Inspired by contemporary architectural styles of minimalism, the all-embracing vibe of this collection was definitely laid-back despite the loud layers. They even managed to make a case for belted dupattas, which was a trend we just had not been able to get on board with!

Collections which we can imagine ourselves in are always a winner

The brand brought out some really vibrant, well-tailored smart casuals for men and women both, which are bound to sell from their store like hot cakes!

Elan

Top picks: An emerald green lehnga that looked spell-binding coming down the runway, this yellow kameez coupled with a hint of print, the heavily-embellished ensemble worn by Hania Amir and most of the menswear!
