They fired off a sub-orbital rocket during his period at suparco, at that stage even India had not achieved such a feat.
He is our rocket missile man and he along with Abdus Salam convinced President Ayub to start a civil.nuclear and a space program and these two guys travelled through to the United States to reach a space-co-operation agreement. He successfully convinced the United States Government to invest and train Pakistan's scientists in the field of rocket technology pity we dont value our heroes like we should

Yes its true. Pakistan had many advances over India in 50s and 60s.

Was talking to my buddies grampa some years back, he was telling me about the large factories Pakistan were acquiring in the 50s. He was the floor manager for a massive factory machining and manufacturing bearings of all sorts and large scale tool and die manufacturing for all kinds of industries (textile mills, transport, steel you name it)....and he even had some pictures he showed me with the West German Lathes, presses, forges and the likes.

It was well ahead of what India was doing in that sector at that time for sure (the industrial focus was somewhat different till mid 60s iirc)...and he agreed with me when I said that.

But it was all squandered somehow....whole country went into a rut from that start he said with a tear in his eye.

I never have before or since felt quite that impressed and sad in such a short time period.

There are few TV series that pay tribute to such martyrs .. But there are many stories -- many unsung heroes.

Are they good quality? Available for purchase/online?

Couldn't you find a more beautiful picture.

i cannot be blamed, it was @Zibago who mentioned it first. :agree:

@2800
Irani girls with desi touch.....It depends on taste i personally value smile with little blend of innocence then>> anything else

185 pages... This is a certified perv corner .. :tup:

with the occasional presence from you too. :agree:

Yes I am sure one will eventually come out on Kalam soon.....but the other notable worthies of South Asia must be covered in at least one epic biographic each along the lines of Gandhi and Jinnah.

pakistan should make a film ( true to events ) on the attempted coup in 1951 by faiz and his socialist/progressive comrades.

india, pakistan and bangladesh should make joint films on bhagat singh and the founding of the "communist party of india".

Looks a touch too theatrical/overdone from the trailer. But hopefully a good watch!
It's the "first look" not a trailer..

The movie Yalghaar is about a 42 hour airborne operation conducted by army in Swat valley..
They should be nice movies. :tup:
Its a film on the security situation in Quetta Balochistan and is based on Shia Hazaras of Quetta

It's not just about Hazaras but social issues,struggle.. Miners etc.

And to think when our nation was founded, nearly all industrial goods ie lathes, machinery etc was kept by India, yet we still saw impressive progress which was subsequently hampered by disingenuous politicians.kudos

Search this ' rich kids of Tehran ' on internet, but please don't post those pictures in PDF.
A very pleasant search indeed :flame::flame: @2800

i seen better pak girls in village i only read first thread properly. Iranian girls wah wah no wonder arabs and erdogan are angry with iran. only bad side is iran girl can be materialistic and fond of plastic surgery, i hope they can cook like pak women.

arabs women = bugatti fast expensive high maintenance drink lots of petrol need saudi oil field, no insurance company will insure it
iranian women = Ferrari fast expensive regular maintenance high insurance, everybody stares and wants it, protect it.

pak women = honda/toyota = low maintenance, high mileage, solid engine, cheap to run, honest to god engineering, takes alot of abuse and still start, cheap buy and run and parts available. cheap insurance. it even can accept parts from other models.
