Always manage to keep secterianism away while teaching Islamiat in colleges and universities.
Yes Quranic translation is there in regular BS programs as well.

But these people are not that visible in society.People listen to only madrasa educated moulvis.

Our scientific educated people are also highly religious minded even though they don't offer a single prayer a day.Any leader who will try to change this madrasa system will face huge rebellion from moulvis and public also .


From my limited experience;I will say our educated women are better analytical thinkers than our scientific educated men .

But fortunately Punjab is creating people who are doing great damage to these secterianist moulvis but there is still long way to go.

Once a boy fails in middle/matric twice or thrice,his parents put him in some motor cycle/car mechanic workshop ,but if he fails even there,then his final destination is madrasa.

After completing his course in madrasa,he will become a regular moulvi in local masjid where he will teach locals Islam.
Now you should not wonder why our public is so intolerant regarding their sects and religion.

When you allow such people access to such a sensitive area like religion, what other outcome can you expect?

These "molvis" will breed jahil, intolerant and quite frankly even Islamically illiterate people! Unproductive and useless people for society who cause more harm than good.

The bar must be significantly raised for who qualifies as a "molvi" and they must be regulated. We need people at the level of Daniel Haqiqatjou and Mohammed Hijab - bare minimum.
