all the people here who have a problem with bollywood movies are pakistani but its kinda funny that indian movies do better in pakistan then pakistani movies. india and pakistan both have a lot of talent and both have also copied from one another. indian movies do better for many reasons. bollywood is an over $1.5 billion industry. the budget for about 5-10 pakistani movies equals the budget for one bollywood movie. the quality of the films speaks for itself. also, more and more pakistani artists are now going to india to find work and are doing better then what they were in pakistan. copying or not, at the end it all comes down to the fact that bollywood is flourishing and pakistan's films are barely making it.

Why are our pakistani friends so sour. Surely, there's very little in the Pakistani film industry worth defending. Not that India can afford to boast a lot, but the sheer scale of projects is what differentiates the two film industries.

Waar, according to reports, will be the most expensive film in pak having cost about 170 million pak rupees. Enthiran or Robo was made in India at a cost of 150 cr (INR) or about 2700 million pak rupees.

There is a bankruptcy of ideas and creativity (barring a few exceptions) on both sides. But by virtue of multi-million dollar budgets, the production standards of Indian films are far superior to those in Pakistan.

Where is the actual interview? Indian sources are notorious of cooking stuff up & taking things out of context, especially when it comes to Pakistan. Which specific movies have been copied from India?

But here in the UK, pakistanis / bangladeshis who are running restarants have the boards says as "INDIAN CUISINE".

I guess the need to compensate for insecurities fuels the need to draw such naive religious and cultural linkages across time and geographies.

Nevertheless, India has played host to numerous cultures, traditions and religions over hundreds of years. Indian cuisine has evolved over the ages to incorporate the best that the different cultures had to offer - with every region of the country tweaking the recipe to suit the local taste buds. The end product is a very rich and almost exotic mix of flavors and tastes, that is unique to India.

And that is the beauty of vibrancy. One can be myopic and term it corruption of cuisine, or see it for what it actually is - evolution.
