No umar Akmal this Shahzad boy and Hafeez (who I used to like so much, as a player) and Afridi too. They play politics in team and that hurts the performance of the team in whole. Mr. Shahid successfully ruined Abdul Razzaq's career. He was the best player and match winner.

Agreed with! The only thing I wanted to point is that there is no doubt there was great potential! However I understand that only potential is no good when you do not know how to apply yourself in certain game situation and these players have brought more harm than good so all there potential and promise is not of much use. Unless something changes drastically there won’t be much improvement on that front. Furthermore as for replacements, you can kick someone out only when you have a better option. This is how others do it at least. In our case, we do not have much more “better” options in batting either so we keep seeing the same faces over and over again.

As for Shahid Afridi, well I just like him for one thing, he won’t give up!! Under him, whether the team wins or loses you can at least be sure that you can see him and his players fighting it out on the field! This is a big thing. Also we should not forget that while we criticize him for his batting, he have taken some 398 wickets!! That is just 2 short of 400. You know who else have taken 400 wickets? ONLY Muralitharan the spin magician, Out two W’s, Wasim Akram the Sultan of Swing, Waqar Younis the toe crusher and Vaas!! Now read these four names again and then consider how big it is to be in the list with them!! These four ALL TIME best bowlers! Afridi needs just two wickets to get there and it will be criminal on part of PCB if he is not given a couple of more matches to get there. These records stay FOREVER!! Consider a list of 400+ wicket takers with three Pakistani’s in that list! Something to be proud of (No, in the end, the number of matches he played to get there won’t matter, the main thing will be 400+ wickets) Remember what Indian did with Tendulkar towards the end of his career! I WOULD REALLY LOVE HIM GETTING THOSE TWO WICKETS. This is a record that will stay for YEARS!!

Well i am not being a fan here, i am just after that prestigious world record for Pakistan which if you look at the list below Afridi, seem to be here to stay for DECADES! Cannot just ignore that and wont do so no matter who the player was.

Yup i agree, this is one serious problem in our team. It started in Saleem Malik Wasim era, even before that, and continues to date. It is not something that happens only in Pakistan team, it is same in other teams as well however that do not makes it right. Politics in team should be dealt with! Surely!!

He was an average player and i wont even talk about him and his team politics!!
As for Amir being given a chance and others not, REMORSE is the the reason. Asif was caught twice carrying marijuana AFTER that no ball incident! How can we treat them both the same. Butt sb was the architect of the whole drama so he too cannot be treated same. That said, i do not have any problem in him getting a second chance as well if he have paid for his wrong doings and if he can prove himself to be an asset to the team (frankly, he never was one ) Just a regular batsman with nothing much special about him really. I will take his name in same breath as Tofeeq Umar, yasir Hameed, Imran Nazeer, Shahzad and Co.!
