In Karachi man, my Nanun took me there, it's a typical I'll - maintained mall, so many people and people shouting everywhere and all that, it was nauseating. And the heat was over whelming.

I have only been to Ocean, Dolmen mall in Karachi. I prefer Ocean because it's small and quite good. Have you been to Ocean?

that shudnt be an issue. what u are referring to is a result of mismanagement. centsurus is running and many malls in lahore have been working since a long time n doing well. so get the right supplier and build supply chain. meap it will be good ppl will like the change. dont do it extensively that it overshadows the culture heritage but something that locals wud like. trust me my frnds didnt want to live there and wanted to live in major cities..whats the use of preserving such culture when ur youth are driven away?

and then u dont live there permanently ..so u wont feel it that way ....those live there day in day out get their views u will know what they think.

I accept your views, but who will get the goods to the mall?. It's not as easy as one thinks, supply chains, spares for repairs, heavy infrastructure etc...

lolzzzzz if its possible they shud find some way. imean large resorts were built so could be malls. goods are already supplied to local markets..arent they? see what they cud feasibly do n whats possible..ab itna ziada tau nahi pata mujhay abt these issues...but ibelieve if affordable and solutions are possible to be worked out then it shud be done. Nahi atleast one large or medium size mall shud be in both skardu and baltistan. now size of mall and types of shops will def b e determined on population sizes and their purchase preferences. oh and also the purchase power. if majority population doesnt earn well then these fancy cafes will face losses.
