Wanted...LOL....In 1965 China "Wanted" to help pakistan, in 1971 they again wanted to help Pakistan along with US,UK and Iran but the reality is that they never helped Pakistan and Auyb Khan was a chutiya to accept ceasefire agreement in order to weaken his position as a leader and to instigate Students riot against government of Pakistan.

China during 1965 war had asked India to withdraw from Nathu La but India resisted and deployed additional troops and artillery in nearby areas. Deployment of additional troops was noticed on Chinese side as well. It culminated into a brief conflict in 1967 in Nathu La and Cho La.

a) posting Sexton (SPG operated by Pakistan Army, Unit 44 (SP) in 1965) as posted by member at Serial No 4 of the post as under:

M-7 (105 mm) Priest was operated by PA. I doubt there were British SP guns in PA Inventory like Sexton, probably IA operated it.

Okay.....I got confused with some other Kishangarh fort which is located atleast 500km from International Border.
Kishangarh fort captured by Pakistan is located 15km away from Tanot and is around 8km from International Border. Pakistan captured Kishangarh fort after Indian army capturing Gadra.

Indian had also captured Phillora several kilometres inside Pakistani territory in Sialkot sector.

A sexton, which was the Canadian product which replaced M7 Priests in British Army as the latter wanted to try their 25 Pounders on the platform as they were making the Field Gun

India has never operated this equipment after the demise of British Indian Army, having used FV433 Abbot 105 mm SPG and M-46 Catapult 130 mm SPGs.
