Pakistan vs South Africa: 2 T20s, 5 ODIs & 2 Tests

200 up for pak

100 up for yunus ...............oopps 100 balls played :D

Looking hopeful for Pakistan (but otherwise we have are useless idiots sitting out there while even our children play better cricket).

Razzaq plays a stupid shot - but safe!

If Younis is getting constant runs, Abdul Razzaq should look for boundaries.

no need to rush,
just keep on rotating strikes.........

Hamza: "Younis has shown the difference between being a good batsman and a successful International Batsman. Even when he is not timing the ball and struggling to play his shots, he has managed to make two 50 plus scores in 4 innings. Hafeez, U Akmal and Afridi should take notes. Such brilliant stroke makers but don't know how to construct an innings."

Please explain what he means by the bolded part guys

It means that you can have only a certain nu,ber of fielders outside the circle (near the boundary).
Power play 1 is of first 10 overs allowing 2 fieldsmen.
PP2 is of 5 ovrs and allows 3 fielders
PP3 is same.

(PP2 is taken by bowling team and PP3 is taken by batting team)

Some addition,
PP1 is in first 10 overs (mandatory). Two fielders have to be in catching positions.

PP2 five consecutive overs when ever opted by fielding side, bowling side can take any time between over no 11 to 50.

PP3 five consecutive overs when ever opted by batting side between over number 11 to 50.

Over all 20 PP overs in total.

Have you come here to learn cricket

lolz

It means that all the above players mentioned in the list are very well talented. But they do not know how to construct an innings. They do not know how to remain calm and keep the runs ticking without losing a wicket.

Never mind I read the wiki link given by Zaki

Thanks

Now I will shut up and keep tracking scores

What is the use of power play though?

In powerplay you have chances to making more runs
because most of the players are within the circle line. So if by mistake the shot was not well struck but was high enough to pass the fielders

the more chances are that you are going to survive.... and the more chances are that the ball will still go beyond the boundary line

Its getting harder n harder

The match is running away from us now

Stupid he, played a stupid shot but survived

What is the use of power play though?

To me it is to give batsmen undue advantage over bowlers for stroke making and create interest for ordinary spectator who just wants to see hitting and runs by batsmen. Its only in ODI and T-20. Its for commercial purpose, has nothing to do with game.
