Of course Pakistan! Given that they perform well under pressure is able to maintain a good batting pace.

i can't say that definately Pakistan will wins as its very difficult to say because both the teams are in their full form as well as their morale is very high after defeating Australia and qualifying for final. however my prayers are with Pakistan. May Allah bless Pakistan with success in todays cricket battlefield.

bad news for india, sehwag may not be able to play in final:frown:

even R.p singh is injured.

Blow the trumpets. Wave the flags. Beat the drums. Because coming your way is the biggest match ever in the history of the game Cricket. An India Pakistan match is often looked upto as a mouth watering contest for all cricket fans from across the globe. And when it is a World Cup Final, there can be nothing bigger than this. Be it for the newest form of the game. It is still a World Cup Final, it is still cricket and it is still India-Pakistan.

Both the teams are in similar stead at this point in time. Both teams have had a good winning streak coming into the finals with wins against quality opponents and wins that have been registered in style. And with one match already going right till the bowl out, the expectations from this match are gargantuous.

India

Coming into this tournament as the team which has the least Twenty20 experience, be it Domestic or International, and a team which doesn't know the tricks of the trade for this format, India has turned out to be the real dark horse. In fact they have taught the Cricketing World, how to play Twenty20 and what strategies to use. The innovative and daring captaincy of Dhoni has come as a whiff of fresh air after two years of dull and passive captaincy that India has witnessed. Moreover, the way he held his and the entire team's nerves in the Semis, is something that deserves accolades. The Indians will stick to their strategies and look to keep on with the good work. The advantage with the Indians is in the psyche. After being beaten by the Kiwis, all the matches were do or die for them and they got success while being under pressure.

Players to watch out for

Virender Sehwag: He is a big match player and he has shown glimpses of his vintage form in this tournament a couple of times already. Moreover, just like Laxman loves Australia, Viru loves Pakistan. He might just have saved the best for the last.

Yuvraj Singh: He has completely revolutionalized the art of batting in Twenty20s. No brute power, no innovative (sometimes ridiculous looking) movements around the crease. Just sheer timing is what has made Yuvraj Singh hold the record for the two fastest fifties in Twenty20 Internationals. Another quick knock here and the Indians might just finish unbeaten against Pakistan in World Cups.

Harbhajan Singh: Matter in the head comes with experience and when you have a lion's heart to add to it, you can be a deadly performer. That is the case with Bhajji. He has a big heart no doubt and now his experience is giving him a lot of benefits. RP Singh might have picked up the most wickets for India in this Tournament but Harbhajan has been a key factor in India's success.

Pakistan

After a shameful defeat at the hands of Ireland, death of their coach, unceremenious exit of their captain and a handful of other controversies, Pakistan came into this tournament with a lot at stake and yet without any expectations. Some fresh faces, a new captain and the absence of a few key players is what set up the tournament for Pakistan. They started off their campaign with an easy win over Scotland and then faltered against India. But since then they have not looked back. From then on, they are yet to lose a match in this tournament and are the only unbeaten side so far. The batting line up has been flexible and the concerns with the opening pair seem to be disappearing with Hafeez and Nazir doing a good job against the Kiwis. The good thing about Pakistan is that they picked up at the right time. They will like to push it just one step further and break the jinx against India in the World Cups.

Players to watch out for

Shahid Afridi: He is someone you can't just keep out of the equation because he can go ballistic anytime and when that happens, even the best of bowling attacks gets annihilated in no time. The other advantage is his clever leg break bowling. He has now become a lot more than a part timer for Pakistan. Already the frontrunner for the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, he is certainly one man, I'll watch out for.

Mohammad Asif: Although on current form Umar Gul is a better bet, just by his sensational record against India, Asif is the bowler to watch out for in this game. He has always troubled India and four good overs from him can really peg India back.

Younis Khan: While people like Afridi, Asif and Misbah-ul-Haq have hogged the limelight, one person has been silently contributing in almost every game and his contributions have rather gone unnoticed. Younis Khan has the ability to turn the match on its head and again he too is a player who saves his best for matches against India. He will be a danger man for the Indians in the middle order.

The United Cricket Board of South Africa will be thanking both these teams to make this tournament memorable and at the same time they will be hoping that they make it immemorable now by exhibiting some great cricket and playing a keenly fought game. If we get to see a close match here, then Twenty20 might just become a sensation (it already has captured the imagination of a lot of people) and the order of the day.

No matter which team wins this game and the trophy in turn, one thing is certain that the Trophy of the Inaugural ICC World Twenty20 will stay in the sub-continent. And before this tournament started, the sub-continental teams were being written off because they had the least experience in this format and because they supposedly "didn't know how to play T20s". Some questions answered then but to know the answer of the ultimate question, i.e. Who will win this tournament???Watch this match at 12:00 GMT

It is good that during Ramadhan UAE offices close at around 3.30 PM. So I would be able to watch. IMO the key is Yuvraj. I saw him hitting Bret Lee in semi final. If we can contain him, Pakistan has a good chance.

Additionally, Pakistanis have no "Nerve". In the last Pak - India match, we managed to snatch "defeat" from the jaws of victory; couldn't score one additional run!!. For Pakistan to win, they would have to win the toss, go out and make around 170 runs.

Either way, it will a cracker and a treat to watch.

I am not much of a cricket fan but I will sacrifice two hours of my sweet sleep to watch this. Come on Pakistan! :D
