Pakistan is using terrorists to wage their war against professional and superior Indian forces, says a Pentagon report. In an assessment of safe havens of terror in Pakistan, the US Department of Defence in its report to the Congress says that the country is using terrorist groups as proxies to counter the superior Indian military. A pti report says,“Afghan-and Indian-focussed terrorists continue to operate from Pakistan territory to the detriment of Afghan and regional stability. Pakistan uses these proxy forces to hedge against the loss of influence in Afghanistan and to counter India’s superior military,” the Pentagon told the Congress in its latest six-monthly report on the current situation in Afghanistan.

The report further adds that – “These relationships run counter to Pakistan’s public commitment to support Afghan-led reconciliation. Such groups continue to act as the primary irritant in Afghan-Pakistan bilateral relations.”

Referring to the attack on the Indian Consulate in Herat, the Pentagon said that the US Department of State announced that the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Tayebba was responsible for the attack. While India continues to support Afghanistan, believing a secure and stable Afghanistan will benefit the region and facilitate economic corridors into Central Asia.

“India has shown increased interest in Afghan security assistance, though activities in the area remain limited. India currently offers India based training to ANSF personnel across a number of specialties and the Indian Government committed to expand this programme. India does not provide direct military support or training in Afghanistan,” the report said.

Pakistan’s deteriorating administrative conditions and increasing terror attacks in prime security zones has been of prime concern for international community and could have a tremendous impact on the security conditions in South Asia. With NATO forces moving out from Afghanistan, there is rising concern in India. This report is a reaffirmation of the belief that Pakistan is not only a safe haven for terrorists but they are key players in the nation’s anti-India schemes.

America india both are using terrorists to wage war against superior Pak army. Pak army and muslims love to die for ALLAH and american indian army love their lives most so can't fight and are inferior.
Pak nukes qualitatively as well as quantitativly superior to hindo bomb. Pak missiles are way superior well known facts among informed, not talking of ill informed net trollers.
And both america hindo.. financed organised and planted TTP as only way out. But now even this ttp is shattered in harshest war ever for which history speaks.

Yes we were so weak and inferior that we split'em into half and there muslim soldiers who loved to die for allah couldn't save their country from this inferior army of ours

So we need the Americans to tell us what we already knew decades ago?

But yes, they've at least acknowledged this in public and not brushed it under the carpet to molly-coddle Pakistan for their so called 'support' in their WOT.

But let's wait and see what happens to US-Pak relations after they withdraw from Afghanistan. They may not then need Pakistan for logistics as there would be far fewer US troops to support in Afghanistan and thus may not need the help of Pakistan for this purpose any longer.
