i understand that Markus. am just trying to put some sense into the heads of Indian posters who are coming up with silly emotional claims of making us scare and so on.


i think its been a long time and Indians now must specially your media learn not to spread senseless sensation . with passage of time dust will settle down and in coming years truth about this incident will also surface one way or the way so its better one should not exploit it

Being a journalist yourself you know that the media can never be controlled from asking questions , and the media will always look to sensationalize .

In response to the reporter's question , our army chief declared that " we have the capability " not that we are about to launch an attack ....

If the PA high command was spooked , it can only mean they are planning more mumbai - style attacks under the guise of plausible deniability , and they took the chief's words as a warning .

They can militarize the border all they want , but if "those tough words " of our Army Chief helps in keeping the rogue elements in check then perhaps its a good thing.

Even the PAF went on "High Alert" after the Raymond Davis affair.



Only High Alert should not turn into Low Alert. That is when radars are likely to become inactive.

Simple...Our army chief said that we can carry out an operation like that and your establishment got baffled...Army leaders meeting and then bringing out statements against India..army at the LoC being on high alert...we got you scared,didn't we??YES,Your establishment knows that India can do what US did and so they set up an emergence meet and set army on high alert..

Sources on Tuesday (May 11) said Indian Army’s Northern Command is on a state of alert after Pakistan’s Army defensive formation was observed by India along the entire 740-kilometer LoC and the 110-km Actual Ground Position Line in Siachen. Indian Army is now monitoring the Pakistan troop movements close to the border. Army sources say India is taking all possible precautions. Pakistan Army’s move came a day after its corps commanders met with Army Chief General Pervez Kayani to warn India against any misadventure.

The statement was meant to be retaliation for remarks of Indian Army and Air Force chiefs that India has the capability to carry out an operation like the one executed by the US Seals in Pakistan. The Pakistan Army top brass said in a statement on Thursday, "The forum, taking serious note of the assertions made by Indian military leadership about conducting similar operations, made it very clear that any misadventure of this kind will be responded to very strongly. There should be no doubt about it."
