Hasnain, firstly, Putting Army on high alert on LOC alone not a full proof vigilance system.
secondly, all covert operation are not like what US navy seals did, There are number of ways to knock down a target, without letting adversaries to know about it. Covert operations ranges from commando strikes to intelligence actions.
