Pakistan to induct S400 and Pantsir-S1 SAM and Igla-S ManPAD Systems for Air Defence

Pantsir S2 for Army and Pantsir ME for Navy will be most suitable options.

Hisar series looks good but will probably be available after 2019. However it may be expensive if collaborate with KORKUT guns system.

If Pakistan Airforce selects A-darter and Marlin missiles for JF-17, then their SAM versions will be suitable for Airforce.

On the move like Russian system plus a single vehicular based system is meant to accompany armored columns of strike Corp

Good luck with that Pal going against CBU 105 , no system can intercept a cluster bomb.
Strike corps :rofl::rofl:
Good luck with that too pal because the enemy fields t90ms.

It's like trying to collide a mehran to a monster truck and hoping there will be no monster truck left.
There is no such thing as strike corps India is not in 1965 , nor in the state of previous standoffs we had with them.
Militarily we need to increase our firepower with induction of a newer MBT one which at least competes t90ms..

This means the Pakistani army is negotiating for these systems with Russia..It is then just a question of time before seeing them in Pakistan..

What about the equivalent Chinese systems..or maybe this has to do with a political and strategic rapprochement with Russia!..If Pakistan succeeds in getting these systems from Russia, that means that the latter is getting neutral in its position towards the Pakistani-Indian conflicts of interests..

Inshallah!

Navy's interest in Umkhonto is to fulfill the requirement of a coastal air defence system. The above suggestions app Iear ideal, but probably will never materialize.

The Chinese have developed the DK-10A missile based on the SD-10A. AFAIR, it is active radar homing (like Derby).
One factor behind the Umkhonto is that it's available in ZAR (vs. USD/Euro/GBP). It is for this reason that South African defence products tend to be lower-cost than comparable Western imports. Algeria paid $61 m to fit two MEKO frigates with the Umkhonto IR (plus missiles, FCS and integration costs). As each ship has 32 cells, then it's like a battery with four 8-cell launchers costing $30.5 m each. Likewise, investing in new or pipeline programs - while inherently costly - is not an inaccessible route.

As for the DK-10A. We haven't seen or heard much about it since 2016, when it was shown with the Sky Dragon, and prior to that when they revealed the SAM.

Bear in mind that some time ago an Indian govt. official poster had a picture of JF-17. These kind of guffaws can happen and frankly I don't think we're immune from making such mistakes. However, if discussion on such acquisitions were to kept under wraps then why did it need to be so openly displayed? The whole thing feels weird.
But if these things actually did materialize then we'll have a formidable air defence setup. As people have pointed out before that entry of such systems will be a perfect counter balance of the recent purchase of Rafale by the Indian Govt. We can't match them buck for buck but we sure can make the Indian dream of complete air dominance only a dream. So fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

Intercepting the plane or even harassing it not to come down to desired altitude to release CBU 105 is the job of the AD system.

CBU-105 is released at maximum altitude of 12,000 m (12km) and max distance of 20,000 m (20km).

Pantsir S-1 uses 57E6 missile. The altitude range for 57E6 is varied across different sources. 15,000 m (15km) on KBP instrument Design Bureau, wikipedia and defencyclopedia. 8000m (8 km) on military-today, 10,000m (10 km) on global security.

Most sources claim 15km altitude interception by Pantsir S-1 57E6 Missile, which means that Delivery aircraft (SU30, Mirage-2000, Jaguar etc) carrying CBU-105 can be intercepted as it approaches to come down to 12km altitude to drop CBU-105.

Good analysis. Pantsir S1 was first proposed to PA at IDEAS 2014 and later in 2015, MBDA offered a 'mobile' version of Spada 2000. MBDA was hoping to open negotiations at IDEAS 2016.

It indicates that there is a requirement of a system which can provide Short range air defence (probably to 1 and 2 Corps). Will be glad to see any of the two entering service.

And here we are hoping it materializes some day (at least for PN).

Indians were bragging about their friendship with Russia today's report in India Today suggests their deal with Russia for AWACS has crash landed

I dont think India will be blackmailed because of these kind of fake news and pressure tactics which is jointly or singly played by Pakistan or Russia. Indian foreign policy is very independent and have the guts to take pressure and in the end decided what is beneficial for them unlike Pakistan who have no nerves to handle pressure neither has the brain power and nor the money to buy such equipments. We are playing from the gallery and thats it.
Where is SU 35? So it is false crap story making up for pressurizing India and giving local public a feel of satisfaction.

Lolz ..... initial order or only order, that time will only tell rest assured you will only keep dreaming of MiG35 and S400s.

Initials order or not, doesn't matter.. considering its a non issue and enough to pour chillies in ur hole.

Lolz and please go through the number of threads opened by your ilk on Indian acquisitions, so don't tell me that you don't care, even a donald ducks dick will have a dedicated thread by disullionals like yourself.

Or perhaps you should visit threads over shyt that india might buy in the fukin future, nonsense?

Here on PDF, Have seen you guys acquiring J10B, MiG35, French/Italian Avionics for JF17, T129, Z10,U214 , SCAR-L... And what not ... and all this merely on some random comment by someone and now this 12-13 pages of dreaming merely based on some poster at an exhibition...
Well unlike u we dont fart in the air now, do we?

JF-17 already uses european systems.. like the EW suite from INDRA Spain etc..
While italian AESA etc is a contender for block III.
J-10 was signed and cancelled back in 2005, by musharaf govt .. unless u were living under a rock.

Z-10,T-129 both are contenders for Army gunship program and if rumours and news coming from Turkey is true that T-129 has been selected...

Both were tested in Pak...

U-219? When? U dumb moron.. we bought 8 AIPs didnt we?

Scar,Bren,Ak103,ARs etc are running for Pak army rifle replacement contest.. u retard:

It's you who's been proving urslef delusional
How sweet.. suck a lolly.

Are you sure we gonna induct all these??
Yes Pakistan is looking to develop entire shield of Air Defence systems with various Air Defence systems part of it from in all categories short medium and long

You're right on most accouns

It's being looked I can guarantee you

Sour grapes

When did India tried to stop either the sale of choppers or the exercise. It's only PDF that here make belief are considered truth. If you want to see protests then you should see your Iron brothers who keep on crying left right n center about everything under sun.
