It will be a miracle if a census takes place sometime soon. It's been 18 years and counting. The last time a census was held, Nawaz Sharif was Prime Minister in his previous term. That's how long it's been.

We all know what a new census would entail though, more seats for urban areas and fewer seats for rural seats. And new seat boundaries for Provincial Assemblies. Many are against it for these reasons (among others). It's sad that elections are still being held under old, outdated boundaries that no longer correspond to the population.

If a perfect census done PPP gonna lose her premiership in Sind as urban areas more populated than interior Sind, they can't digest yet Myaorship going else how they digest to loosing PMship.

you can be corrupt but still do census... just have a separate structure mandated to do it every 10 years.. this sort of things should not depend on who is in power...(unless there is war or some natural calamity of big proportion).

Budget allocation will be done on basis of census Urban Sindh now has 50% of the population if its done in a correct way then pp loses its power whoch is mainly from Rural Sindh
It has more to do with politics than security situation
