Muslim population in Indonesia is at 231 million

Indonesian Muslim is 239 million in 2022 as 87 % of 275,5 million (2022) Indonesians are Muslim. Our fertility growth is falling though but the population is still growing, so the number in 2023 will likely be growing.

With 250 million people and Muslim at 96% in 2023 census, I think Indonesian Muslim will still slighly larger than Pakistan for 2023. I think Pakistan Muslim will surpass Indonesian Muslim population in 2025.

Bro, even if you think from the perspective of building a strong Muslim nation, you need to arrest population growth to be able to improve quality of life. Poverty and illiteracy is what is holding back the Muslim world. Look at the jews - they are about 1/100th the global Muslim population yet way more influential and powerful. Instead of breeding like crazy, the Jews chose to educate themselves and make their way to upper echelons of society wherever they lived.

If Muslims, put in half the effort, we can regain control.

I’m not looking at it from Pakistan only perspective. A larger Muslim population means more Muslims in the world and more Muslim countries. If Pakistan’s population grows too large it will naturally correct it self. Naturally people will leave the country or conquer other lands and add to the country. They’ll take their religion with them to new lands and spread the deen. Kaffir countries have a declining population and many like Canada are begging for immigrants. Overtime immigration can cause these countries to become Muslim majority countries.
