Pakistan still a strategic partner, reaffirms US

Gave control of Afghanistan to Pakistan.
To be honest, US was in no position to give it to anyone. Afghanistan is non-governable mess and Pakistan is only trying to protect from the terrorism that comes out of Afghanistan.

as i highlighted his opening statement in my earlier post above: "It is our intention to provide choices to countries when it comes to what the relationship with the United States looks like.”

i think they know what they are talking, it is us who are not trying to keep a grasp.
They say one thing and do exactly the opposite hence my contention with their statement. The strategic partners of US are India and Israel.

Dude can you please elaborate for plebs?

it is a super power speaking of their principle stand against or towards a country who could not learn what and how to get the most out of this giant.

then we chant slogans "amreeka murdabad"after we are not bought when we sell ourselves cheap just to fill our pockets or to become next candidate being PM.

with such credibility how one can tame a beast.

Edit: sorry i could not explain in simple words for the plebs, but this is it.

When America refers to a certain country as a strategic partner, that country should consider itself a target of America, to be destroyed either by economic sanctions, regime change, false flag operations, clandestine infiltration or all of the above. Pakistan ought to get it's head out of the sand and own up to its independence in foreign and domestic policies. If it does not, then you can assuredly expect a slow and steady decline of your sovereignty.

Pakistan and US cannot be seen with the same optics as US and horn of Africa or Syria or Libya etc. Who are the people directly affected by WOT in Afg? You will find these same people do not align with Pakistani ideology either.

If Afg hadn't been invaded, TTP would have been 100 times stronger and over time FATA and KPK would have gone into civil war as that was the AQ/Taliban game plan to break up Pakistan and strengthen Afg.

US will always pick Pakistan over Afg, they will always pick Pakistan over Iran. So develop this leverage, create a good relationship like during the cold war and break the backs of your enemies.

US picking Pakistan over Afghanistan or Iran does not give us any shoulder to break the back of the enemy. when it comes to enemy, US is found standing with them.

This appears to be an indian army cheif feeling pressured and divulging something in public. Normally, cheifs express moral high statements.
Taking this american statement after 220 days when Khan visiting China and before his visit, a new type of attack strategy against our post in Balochistan and the recovery of NATO grade American weapons from terrorists reflected what the Americans and their Indian handlers wanted in region.
Rahul Ghandi's speech was a wake-up call for India, but it was too late as Pakistan has already firmed up its positions in this region. The National Security Adviser should reconsider our policy about the 100 years of peace agreement with India, and national security should look at the Balochistan attacks as well.

US be like that Pakistani husband who doesn't want to live with his wife anymore and doesn't want to give divorce either.
Exactly.

Certain elements of our society who shall remain nameless lest it offend anyone, are like that battered housewife who keeps going back to him because she thinks she's so special she can change him.

Something revealing is coming out of the mouth of this "Band Master". :p:

Are you old enough to remember George w Bush and his "you are with us or against us" statement post 911? This sentence is basically a diplomatic version of saying that.

It's a transactional relationship - "if you do as we say, you'll be rewarded - if you don't, you'll be punished".

The USA is a global superpower, even today it's the only country with the political and military influence that it has. Unmatched by anyone. It is also the worlds largest economy. This has been the case since our existence, apart from maybe a short period where the Soviet Union gave them a run for their money. China is nearly there, but it's not there yet.

As a country our leadership, in it's many forms - has never developed a long term relationship with the USA. We've always sold ourselves short. A large part of that in recent times has been because we had nothing to offer in exchange. Why is India full of American call centres? India had a lot of English speaking computer literate people available at the right time. We didn't.

Geography and politics has crossed our paths. We happen to be next door to China, a country who's global influence the US wants to curb partly by controlling the countries around it. We happened to be next to Afghanistan, a country where the US went to war directly and indirectly twice. If it weren't for these factors, they'd not be interested in us at all. However these things meant they have been interested in Pakistan and we've not been able to utilise that opportunity. Instead we've been their regional whipping boy.

It is obvious that whatever he is doing receives full support from the United States, without US support, he would not be more than just a bandmaster😊😊
During the Balochistan attack on our post, they attempted to stop our visit to China in a hidden word campaign. However, there was no success. India complained about us to the US, and US responded that Pakistan did not listen to them. US and Indian Band master are telling us the whole story behind the scenes with their statements.

Even, with the US support, which obviously is there, without any doubt, he remains a "Band Master". :p:
