Pakistan Should Not Blindly Surrender to Modi Over Sikh Demonstrations

Salaam

Yeah, I don't have any substantial knowledge about the demographic situation in India as well but yeah if they don't have any major areas of demographic advantage, I don't see how they could get anything of substance from a referendum.

You either have the numbers or the brute military/economic/political power to get what you want. If they have neither, I don't see this whole thing going anywhere for them.

If having a legitimate historical claim was enough then the natives of Americas and Australia would've gotten a whole lot more than what they have now.

...

To start with, the issue of Khalistan is a perfect non-starter and Pakistan shall not get itself involved in it, in any way.

. .
Had Khalistan been a viable and achievable option; Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale would have demanded it. His whole movement was to gain certain degree of autonomy for Punjab, based upon "Anandpur Sahib Resolution".

.
Guys, if that’s what it is then it’s just the tactical move so chill. Our support will continue.

.
Exactly...talking of demography, even Indian Punjab have equal number of Hindus...Besides, Indian Punjab's sikh's don't seem to have any issues living in India. The ones who do not want to live with India are already not living in India (Canada, UK etc)....so how does it matter?
Well applying the same logic..why not let a free & fair referendum happen as UK let in Scotland. If you're so confident then India has nothing to fear.

.
First of all "india can't bully Pakistan despite all their numerical advantage" this is the number 1 thing that burns them deep down inside. They can't vent their frustration out on us the way they do on bharti muslims.

Second: I wouldn't trust khalistanis for 1 second now. Who knows after getting carved out of india they will set their sights out on lahore. Not taking sides in this mess doesn't equate to surrender.
There's no population of Sikhs in Lahore.

You mean if few people are not satisfied with a state, the state should go for a so called, Free and fair referendum. The world is full of such disputes...not every dispute is eligible for a referendum. Any on the first place, why a state will do it?

In your country too, Balochis, Sindhis, Pashtuns are not satisfied...would you go for one?

.
Use the sikhs as your puppets dont get to close to them.

.
Sikhs will remain an enemy of Muslims.

But a separation will be beneficial in the long run. Hindutva will be weakened if the Sikhs leave. Once Punjab is reunited, Delhi won't be far. Hindu hegemony and apartheid won't last.

Salaam

They can't really claim lahore or any Pakistani area as the demographics here don't allow for anything like that. So I don't see how the Sikhs claiming lahore could be a serious concern.

...
The reverse will happen. The Sikhs will eventually assimilate to Pakistani society once Punjab is united.

Preaching Islam to Sikhs is also easier. Since they also believe in One God.

our policies are cowardly and soft...zyada he thallay lagnay ka shouq hai hamai!

It is not few people. They are significant majority in Indian Punjab and they belong to a different religion and culture

. . .
Everybody is laughing at you ,as you said Mullah omar is visionary leader and taliban is brother. Enjoy honeymoon with namak haraam talibanis. :D We need to throw few bones, we can use against indian embassy in afghanistan :D

Off topic and an attempt to derail the thread
