The full-blown economic turmoil pushed the country of over 220 million at risk of a debt default, with the coalition government taking stringent measures to dodge default.
As the sword of default hangs over the cash-strapped nation, the country’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif mentioned an out-of-the-box scheme, suggesting that a quarter of debt could be settled if only two golf clubs built on state-owned land were sold.
The ruling party leader pointed out that several golf clubs have been built on government land, and opined that selling two golf clubs would have lessened the hefty debts. Lamenting elite capture, he said several notables of society spend their eves in these clubs.
WTF, they are building these luxury stuff on government land and can't even fucking do their actual job properly. Deserve to be lynched.
