Pakistan’s Hazaras to take up arms over attacks

Its an effort, an experiment, to make a homogeneous society. I can't believe you being a Chinese have missed that. Its a worth an experiment and it has been on for many years, the difference is the private groups are more proactive than allegedly very few from the establishment.

BTW Hazaras are no where in a capacity to wage an arm struggle in Pakistan. This news is with plenty of media exaggeration quoting some emotional, sad but angry Hazara.

What kind of logic is that?

China is ethnically homogenous, while Pakistan is religiously homogenous (over 97% Muslim).

Yet it is Pakistan (homogenous) and India (not homogenous) who are both in the Top 5 Nations affected by Terrorism. While China (homogenous) is nowhere close.

So where is the connection between homogeneity and terrorist attacks?

I guess being homogenous helps cut down on differences which can lead to terrorism. It is a factor, although not the only one.

I would like to comment on the specific bolded part of the above post.....If you the conduct of Pakistan Army in last 10 years, i can surely say that they are far much more better than the army in Zia period....So blaming army or intelligence for every situation needs to be carefully analyzed before blaming them....

Shia and Sunni conflict is much more to do with the social problem and social fabric of than the security issues....So address the issue from societal perspective rather than expecting Army will do a miracle for a social issue....

its a real shame that the state has resisted their demand to conduct targeted operations against the fararri camps
there have been some raids (on paper) and some token arrests of the Sunni extremist organisation that serves as the politcal front face of LeJ and thats pretty much it.

and LeJ is not bluffing, they will go ahead with their announced attacks. it reminds me of something that happened in parachinar when after continued attacks the shias armed themselves and started fighting back the Deobandi sectarian terrorists but security forces moved in and disarmed the shias and then setup checkposts and then later on watched as the sectarian terrorists resumed their attacks and massacred the shia. thats one of the thing the LeJ has bragged itself in one of its latest open letter.

the sectarian pests are fearless now, you guys say that we are getting the taste of our own medicine but its unfair comment because Hazarras have no role in terrorism in India and the sectarian terrorists who specialise in shia killing have never ever threatened Indian state, they might change their mind and join with LeT to kill shias in India and Kashmir but they are getting very good results here in Pakistan so they wont risk their lives while crossing the border.

if Hazaras went bazzark then these Punjabi terrorists will find no place to hide, they are used to killing unarmed shias but that might change quickly if the Hazaras eventually put their words into action

its a worrying development for Pakistan because all foreign hostile entities will seize this moment. the supporters from UAE and KSA will double their support of LeJ and TTP, Iran and maybe India will will support the shias adding more fuel to the fire.

Bold part will explain the hypocrisy and reality.

What he said is the dominant group always tries to homogenise the society to their favor - so this is an attempt by the LeJ to religously homogenize Pakistan by eliminating the Shias (who they view as heretics and comprise about 20% of the population).

You told Pakistan is religiously homogenous..it is anything but that. The Muslims are further divided into Sunnis and Shias while the Sunnis themselves are subdivided into Deobandis, Salafis,Barelvis and Sufis.

So once this Sunni homogenization is complete , then the next wave of homogenization (maybe Deobandi or Salafi) will start leading to another bout of violence.

Added to these are the racial, linguistic and ethnic faultlines.

Why this has not affected China is because Chinese are mostly atheist with indigenous religions and are already racially homogenous that you dont have to forcibly homogenize anyone, except maybe the Uighurs or Tibetans who are in such small numbers that any retaliation is not possible.

khanboy007;3976065]ur rite an i cant agree with u more,

what im saying is, if with the help of technology those tractors laden with bombs, suicide bombers, undercover agents can be recovered and dealt with, with the help of those people then whats the harm ??

khanboy007 The people (Intelligence agencies)who are suppose to help are the ones behind the scene supporting terrorist.

and as far as Gen. Pasha is concerned, it's where he lives (UAE) so to survive he has to say "YES" and is left with no choice, and if u dont want Pasha to work with UAE then why don't u offer him PROTECTION in Pakistan,
PASHA HAD BEEN PROTECTING PAKISTAN LATELY, WHY CANT PAKISTAN PROTECT HIM, IF PAKISTAN IS SO CONCERNED ?????

Did he protect pakistan?or was he working all along for UAE think it through.

But they are all Muslims right?

Even for Han Chinese it can be divided into many subgroups, such as my own (Hakka). But these subgroups do not try to assimilate/attack the others, since all are already Han.

Yep, Uyghurs and Tibetans combined make up less than 1% of the population, and are not growing faster than the average. And they are geographically isolated too, leading to easier administration.

15 days to go and this government will leave. Talk about whats going to happen in the future please.

Nominally yes. They are all Muslims. But each one claims that it is his version of Islam that is true, that they are the true Muslims and the other is a heretic. We non-Muslims tend to think of them as a single group, actually they act as a single group when in minority, but when in majority all these problems come out. Shia-sunni problem is probably the longest feud in the history of the world stretching back 14 centuries.

Why this contrasts with Hans is you people dont go about judging who is the true Han and who is a fake Han.

Wahhabi s don't consider pakistan their own country .
Wahabis consider it their own country if you want to prove them wrong prove them wrong through Quran and Hadees not your personal opinion

Wahhabis should not have a country, in the sense, isnt nationalism haram in Wahhabism ?

China was made ethnically homogeneous, Mao's great experiment, cultural revolution (It's shame I have explain this to a Chinese gentleman), same is been done in Pakistan. Religious homogeneity of muslims is a myth, you need to learn more on it.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Mao and the Cultural revolution were about Communism not ethnicity.

We were Han Chinese for a thousand years before Communism was even born.

And by your logic, India must be trying to homogenize since you are in the Top 5 nations most affected by Terrorist violence, same as Pakistan. While we are nowhere close.

Sir their is no such thing as Wahabis first of all their are Muslims term Wahabi used by those who attack the person known as Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahab who came few hundred years ago and I have asked many here who attack him to prove his sayings wrong through Quran and Sunnah but they have failed every time

i don't know why people here differ b/w shias and sunnis...do u beleive shias are something else than muslims???
Shias are also our brothers and i never differed in shia and sunnis.. .
We should face this threat by union and not by blamming and fighting.....
Army and ISI have all sort of people both shias and sunnis soo how can you blame ISI or PA??
well Saudis or UAEs have probs with Shias coz thats all was planned its all planned to divide the muslims...
